28/05/2026: “Lovely café with both outdoor seating with umbrellas and a comfortable indoor seating area. The coffee is very good, prices are fair and actually better than many nearby places. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. They also have the Squid app loyalty system where every 10th coffee is free — a small thing, but it makes customers happy.
The only downside is that because the café is very popular, there can sometimes be a longer wait for coffee during busy hours. A larger coffee machine with more groups would definitely help. Overall, highly recommended!”

29/06/2026: Stopped off on way to West Cork. This restaurant had everything. Bright & tastefully decorated. Staff friendly and efficient. Great selection. I had the goats cheese quiche with salad which was delicious and my husband had the bacon dinner also delicious. Highly recommend!

31/05/2026: Stopped off here while passing through Fermoy with a car full of hungry kids. Great spot! Delicious pasta, pizza and starters. Good was served fast and the staff were brilliant.

30/04/2026: There was a time when I loved going to Hillbilly's in Cork City after a night out.
The food was always tasty and at a reasonable price.I thought it would taste just as good here but there seems to have been a downgrade in the food quality.
Still enjoyed the gravy send chips,pity other chippers don't offer this on the menu.The service is good and it is in a nice location.

02/06/2026: The staff were happy, helpful and welcoming. The food was incredible: we are determined to try the mango salad at home and my potato and chorizo hash with poached eggs was incredible. This place was worth the find and I can't recommend it enough.

31/12/2025: Latest Edit: Gave it another go just now, the sweet and sour chicken was so watered down! The 'sauce' was so watery! The chicken pieces were soggy since they could just absorb so much from the 'sauce' .. it seriously tasted like dishwater and the soggy chicken was stringy :/ talk about a nose dive in quality
Edit: Over the last year or so, the dishes seem to be a bit watered down. My most recent order involved getting a call from their delivery driver telling me the €5 delivery charge should be €7.50 because I was living 200meters past his personal cutoff point for €5. For a €75 order, it's a bit nit picking and bad form. They should contact their online ordering site on this if it's that much of an issue for them and their driver.
Cancelled my order and will go elsewhere from now on.
