We were desperately searching for food options in the Wicklow Mountains, having mostly come across cafes serving burgers and pizza. Craving something more substantial, we stumbled upon this cafe. The vibe was distinctly small-town, and the cafe seemed to be a popular spot with locals. We ordered a full Irish breakfast and a vegan breakfast, which, by the way, is difficult to find; hardly any cafes offer vegan options. The coffee wasn't great, but that's alright. The iced coffee, however, was good. The view from the restaurant was also lovely. It's a sweet little place in the Wicklow Mountains, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit. Prices are non expensive.

Went there on a saturday afternoon for lunch and totally loved the experience. Great atmosphere in and around, tasty food with quantities more than any place in Ireland.

Had full Irish breakfast, was average at best. Microscopic knob of butter for two slices of sour dough bread . It arrived with 2 poached eggs , now I never been served poached eggs on a fried breakfast before without at least been asked. C'mon guys converse with your customers

We were pleasantly surprised by this little unsuspecting cafe! Food was really quality ingredients and clearly homemade, staff were friendly and efficient and the interior was very cute. Great value for money too.

We stopped in for an early supper after spending the day driving around Wicklow sightseeing. The staff were all so friendly. We (3 of us) all got sandwiches with chips. The sandwiches were hearty and delicious! Great experience!!

22/02/2025: LOVED this hotel, it’s so immaculately looked after and presented. The staff are so attentive and make a great atmosphere. We went for a Boyne Valley tasting event, the food was really lovely- only criticism is that I was expecting an emphasis on the produce being from Boyne Valley but that was not the case. Can’t wait to go back for more events like that.

Belleek Castle

16/03/2025: I don't know how to express how special this stay was. The beautiful castle is like stepping into another era, the staff are universally exceptional - warm, welcoming, professional and exceptionally hard working. Staying here was an experience I'll never forget and I hope I can go back for every special occasion I have to celebrate! The restaurant is worth travelling to whether you stay or not - I've only had this level of service, food & atmosphere simultaneously a handful of times in my life. The rooms are luxury and elegance. The bed, pillows and linen were a cocoon after a long drive, and the next morning I woke up at dawn to birdsong. Treat yourself to a stay here; it's an experience that's become almost extinct.
25/02/2025: We came here to check out the venue before our wedding - we had a fabulous room. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast was delicious 😋 The staff are very friendly and helpful and the bar serves a great pint of Guinness!
