Holohans Pub in Enniscorthy

13/02/2025: Had a beautiful meal in the Moorings restaurant. The staff and service was fantastic. The starters were very nice if a little bit small. Only 4 prawns for a tenner, my main course was lovely, I had the sea bass, but my wife’s meal was poor. The braised steak was well over cooked and it tasted slimy. My wife had the pavlova and it tasted like shop bought meringue and it was only okay. Won’t be going back again for a while. Things will have to improve.

12/02/2025: Have to give a shout out to all the staff. Myself and my partner stayed over for a night. It was super busy when we got there with a match on and Sunday lunch in full swing. There was no space in the main bar so a young man brought us through to where they had opened up a function room and bar and put the match on a big screen. Staff were flat out but were still flying through orders and clearing up and were super polite and friendly. All the staff from reception, bar, to the leisure centre were lovely & super helpful. Locations great (beside the river & short walk into town), rooms are nice & clean. Great spot for a getaway 10/10.
