staff were friendly,ordered food that had nuts in it that weren't on the menu,when I brought this up the chef said its in the allergens, it should state on the menu with ingredients not in the small print, my pasta carbonara was sour,we didn't eat it but we're still charged which was disappointing. we ordered a deluxe double which we didn't get even though we were told it was, luckily there was a single bed to as my partner had to sleep in it as the double bed was too small. pool not the best small and felt dirty, steam room and sauna were moved to the treatment rooms so have to pay extra to use them.

A little old but clean. Beautiful pool with jacuzzi and a spa that we could not use because it closes at 5 pm. Convenient free parking in the back. Rooms with very comfortable King bed.

Great Northern Hotel

05/10/2025: Very nice room,The beds were nicely made and very comfortable indeed.BIG HOTEL and comes with lots of activities too including golf, tennis and leisure centre with a gym and a pool and great location as well with Water world the beach and the funfair nice walk down to these locations .Recommend hotel to stay at for the summer holidays food was high quality and tasty indeed and Staff were very nice and posh they would give you anything that you need and have it delivered to your door in seconds. The tv works including Netflix and YouTube which would help you pass the time when you’re waiting to do something . 5 STARS,RECOMMENDED indeed
05/08/2025: A great old school hotel. Location is superb, with terrific views out over the bay. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast is fantastic. There is a great history behind this hotel.
