Honestly Farm Kitchen in Carrick-on-shannon

Honestly is, well… honestly one of the best spots around Carrick. We were hesitant at first thanks to a less than happy experience at the Strandhill location, but thank the gods we gave this one a chance. The coffee is top-tier, the vegetarian food is plentiful and actually vegetarian (cooked separately, no cross-contamination worries), and not just sad leaves pretending to be a meal - proper veggie food! And the staff? Absolute gold. Special shout-out to Karina and Regina, who are consistently amazing and always go above and beyond. If you want good food, great coffee, and people who clearly give a damn, this is the place.

Called in here for breakfast and had a really tasty vegan breakfast roll with mushrooms, kale and some kind of Irish(klondileeky??) pudding. It was exactly what I needed. Delicious! Staff were all lovely too.

Can't recommend enough. Food was delicious, service was quick and staff were very friendly. Amazing plant based and gluten free options. Was the first time in a long time, where I felt like I had a lot of options to choose from since I'm vegan and usually there's only one or two choices. The breakfast bun was delicious as was the coffee. Wish there was a location closer to home.

Stopped off here during a family road trip for breakfast. Was such a lovely atmosphere, really good location with free parking. The veggie breakfast and pancakes were so delicious 😋 and service was fantastic! Definitely recommend

Honestly ..I come here almost every week and order something from the Drive Through ..service is always spot on. Today was very different and when I finally lost patience and asked how am I supposed to put jam on an almond croissant in the car without a knife I was snottily handed one and had the hatch shut in my face .....Nice

ALLERGY SUFFERERS BEWARE: While the food here is lovely, the kitchen pay zero attention to either the meal descriptions on the menu or special instructions given at the counter. I repeatedly have been given peppers on meals that are not supposed to contain them, even when I have specifically requested no peppers while ordering. This has happened literally dozens of times now, and despite the best efforts of the front of house staff, the kitchen just continues to ignore allergen requests from customers. If you have a serious allergy, possibly best to steer clear of Honestly Carrick.

Love this place !! Been back a few times. Just had a breakfast bap and it was the best b’bap I’ve ever had 😌 Lovely coffee, not many places have pouring cream when I ask. But they made my oat flat white with a little cream in it just the way I like it.
