Bathroom disappointing The hotel has a luxury feel but the bar and food together doesn't work they need a seperate quiet dining area with better service The bathroom all the tile grout and silicone and around old taps and showers and the showr hose are all manky It won't let me add photos

Just there for food after a funeral. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was nicely played out. Food was nice. People who had the beef said it was nice and tender. The chicken was nice.

Arrived to a reception area smelling quiet bad of smoke .checked in and went to room mattress not great then found ear rings on floor and soothers on floor

I should have written this review two months ago. We stayed one night for a friend's wedding reception at the end of November and we had a wonderful time. The hotel was decorated beautifully Christmas! The staff were lovely and the food was great. We'd definitely recommend a visit.

Location is excellent for exploring and hiking the Burren. Half hour to Lahinch, great for surfing and nicest sunset in the world. A little disappointed with the hotel, served wrong food.. torn curtains in the bedroom and lethal slippy with frost directly outside the main entrance, should have been salted or gritted..but it was cheap and had a gym and pool which were lovely.

Great lunch there on Friday with my daughter and 2 nieces and their 2 little ones their baby bowls 🥣 arrived quickly so they were able to have a snooze in their buggies while we had our lovely lunches

Would be 1 star only for the lovely woman at reception. Rooms very tired and badly need some tlc..can't comment on food as they weren't serving any!!! Badly Badly needs some tlc

What a lovley hotel, the staff were very kind and we received a warm welcome on arrival. The food along with the service in the restaurant was incredible. Included a Swimming pool gym sauna steam room. Plenty of parking golf course next-door and a lovely bar.

I was there as an employee. And every hotel in Ireland has a few rooms reserved for us! It's a bit worse in the alleys and undergrounds. But it was good, clean and dry

Hunter's Hotel

20/01/2025: One of my favourite places to visit in Wicklow, whether just to stop in for a stroll around the charming gardens and have a pot of tea and a warm, freshly baked scone with jam, butter, and cream, or have a celebratory family luncheon. A place of immense atmosphere that brings you to another time, it is like a portal to a world that barely exists anymore, with fantastic, kind, and sometimes wonderfully comic staff that could be straight out of a Flann O'Brien novel... it's no wonder this place attracts writers and painters and artists of all kinds who use the rooms and grounds for peace, good conversation, and inspiration. The food is delicious and they grow many of the ingredients they use on their land. Visit Hunter's to have an experience you are unlikely to receive in any other modern, fashionable Irish destination hotel or resort. A truly one of a kind place, untouched by time. Long may it be so.

Saratoga

07/12/2024: Located on the beach in Woodstown, it is a lovely pub for a stop off for a drink or after a walk on the beach. Food is good and staff are friendly. Accomodation is also available.
05/12/2024: Had a fantastic stay at The Saratoga. Lovely cosy bar with stoves at full blaze, which was wonderful as you could almost hear the sea outside. Food was superb, rooms were fabulous, newly decorated, could not fault. Staff were amazing, thank you for looking after us Ziggy. Location is amazing, right on the beach, perfect for a walk after breakfast. Thanks so much.
