Howard's in Ballina

Quiet little bar, good for quieter nights out.

According to the 'McCartney Bar' Irish guide book you should never go into an Irish bar/pub calling itself a 'traditional' Irish bar. And Howard's (just called Howard's on the outside) proves that point. Upon entering this bar Eugene and all the people in the bar made us feel like we're were already one of the regular locals. Fantastic genuine Irish welcome. Went back a few times because of the atmosphere and they are dog friendly to well behaved dogs only. So score a Brucy Bonus point for being dog friendly.
