Pure Class! Edit: That short review was for the old fine dining version of this restraunt. Unfortunately the experience of the new casual incarnation left an awful lot to be be desired, particularly in terms of service and ambiance.

Had a lovely dinner recently to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I had forgotten that I added this to my reservation so was delighted to be presented with a lovely glass of prosecco on the house! A nice touch that was completely unexpected! Food was fresh and delicious, will definitely be going back.

The starters and desserts were amazing but the soba main dish way too salty and I didn’t like the tempura prawns in the soup as they got soggy and looked disgusting. Staff and service was amazing, the atmosphere was good. will be going back as I clearly picked wrong main dish for myself. 4 stars review because the expectations were so big when booking this place.

I liked this food experience immensely. The perfect broth with noodle. Tempura with sause was absolutely beautiful. Tofu is silky and ideal matches with the sauce it is in. Amazing desserts of the day were matcha pannacotta and cheesecake with wasabi ice-cream. One of the best restaurant in Cork.

Soba main courses were plain and small. A little underwhelming. Tempura starter was nice. Staff were pretty amazing, friendly and professional.

Excellent food and service! Highly recommend the katsuzara if its available!

I would recommend going down the Spanish route ie tapas style on the starters rather than the noodle and rice dishes although lovely they are noodle and rice dishes nothing extraordinary. Do work your way through the natural wines served by the glass

When I was going to this restaurant, I was expecting something special but it is quite usual Asian restaurant, food is on the same level as in any other with good reviews. Atmosphere is nice. But don’t expect anything special if you are planning to visit.
