Click & collect, had to wait a few minutes for my trolley of DIY delight to be wheeled out, late night collection seems best, ie it's not too busy, Seemed short staffed, But otherwise all good. Updated post 14-11-25, All good, no wait times, Excellent breakfast 👏👏 So this new app they have allows you to scan as you shop then exit trú a seperate payment channel, nice, pity I didn't know about it in advance !!!

Great for Home Inspiration and Snacks! Coming up all the way from Cork, ​I recently spent a good few hours at the IKEA in Dublin, and it remains one of the best places for affordable home shopping. ​The Layout: The home products were very well laid out but a bit like a maze, so it can be confusing. It’s definitely possible to get slightly lost if you are not careful! That said, the room sets are brilliant for getting decor ideas, even if the "one-way" system feels like a long trek. ​The Food: If you need a break, the food section is definitely value for money. I found that the quality of the pre-made food (like the Daim cake or the refrigerated wraps) is very good. However, the hot food is pretty average, fine for a quick, cheap bite like the meatballs, but nothing spectacular. ​Shopping Experience: The staff were helpful when I eventually found them, and the self-service warehouse at the end was well-organized. ​The Verdict: A solid 4 stars. It’s an easy way to furnish a house on a budget, just make sure you have plenty of time (and a map!) to navigate the showroom floor.

Great store to do shopping to home

The IKEA store in Dublin offers convenient parking facilities and is situated in a location with minimal traffic congestion.

Was a little disappointed today. Buying 4 boxes and 4lids on a 4 for 3 offer. Was told at checkout that only the cheapest item would be discounted, so I saved 2 lids instead of the expected 1 1box and 1 lid, a difference of 3 euros. I would expect to be treated fair when buying for 163 euro and not having to regret not splitting my bill to have the 4 boxes on a separate invoice to receive the full discount.

Love to go tomikea at this time of the day, 2 hours before closing on a week day.. so quiet and all the planners are free to sit and take their time with you 😁
