Food was delicious, however we were shoved beside a large table where I couldn't hear the person across from me. Possibly, due to the table felt ignored by waitstaff But the food was very good.

Food was average. Ambience was nice but they made us sit at the back even though there were plenty space in the main dining room, just because we didn’t have a booking. I wouldn’t recommend going without a reservation. Pizza was just alright. The main pasta dish had chicken which was on the border of going bad.

Place is not bad. Cozy, clean. Staff is nice and service was excellent. Quality food was a little under about what you can expect on an Italian restaurant.

Absolutely amazing! Gluten free options were also amazing. We all had different orders and they were all amazing. My only complaint is that the garlic cheese bread is only two slices, I was hoping for more. Also the best panna cotta I've had in Ireland. This place is a new family favourite Updated in 2026 (previous review left intact above): we've been coming here for a couple years now. Folks, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We've come here for birthday dinners, family get-togethers, graduation, Confirmation, and many more. And it's been a huge hit. Every. Single. Time. We've explored the menu pretty thoroughly by this point, and we've literally never had a bad dish. From steaks that were cooked to tender perfection, to many different pasta dishes, including an absolutely fabulous dish with focacia bread baked over top, we've probably tried over 40% of their menu. And literally not a single bad item. One of my children has firmly decided that this is THE destination for dinner. And no argument from me!

A superb Italian restaurant in Athlone and well worth stopping for if you are travelling across the Shannon. We were there on a Friday evening and it was bustling but the level of service never dropped. Be sure to book in advance. And the food was delicious

A really good Italian restaurant with tasty food, friendly service, and a nice, cosy atmosphere. I ordered the carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A lovely spot for a relaxed meal.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing Best pizza & pasta we've had in a long time We got the pizza with burrata on top, so good and creamy chicken tikka fettuccine. Our son had never tried carbonara before and he loved it! The wine and the dessert were lovely too and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Athlone!
