Il Colosseo in Athlone

We got a table for 4 in the evening, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The noise level was a little high but it was pretty full so that was to be expected.

Lovely, first time I try it, the atmosphere is lovely and the food is really nicee the pizza was the best

Lovely experience until waitress decided to spray clean tables right next to us while we where finishing dessert/ wine.. so we got mouthful of dissinfectant.. not so pleasant.. and not necessary to spray so much onto tables... otherwise lovely food, nice atmosphere. Would return

Very nice, it was a very busy spot. 8 of us for dinner and though the service was good and staff were extremely helpful and nice we had to wait on a starter for a good while and then the same happened with the main and dessert.

Good place to eat a nice meal. Generous and tasty dishes.

Had an absolutely fab time. Staff were friendly, food came within five/ten minutes, big portions and tasty, worth the price. Would strongly recommend!

Wonderful authentic Italian food and terrific wine selection

Food was delicious, however we were shoved beside a large table where I couldn't hear the person across from me. Possibly, due to the table felt ignored by waitstaff But the food was very good.

Food was average. Ambience was nice but they made us sit at the back even though there were plenty space in the main dining room, just because we didn’t have a booking. I wouldn’t recommend going without a reservation. Pizza was just alright. The main pasta dish had chicken which was on the border of going bad.

Scrumptious food, great service and lovely atmosphere.
