Excellent food and lovely staff

4 of us ate in il sorriso last night for the first time and were pleasantly surprised, there was nothing that I could fault from the evening, lovely food and wine and great service. Will return. Gerry

Great experience in here. Decent price at the heart of the town, and real italian food. The ravioli is a must, and the pizzas have a really nice and tasty base. The food was so good that even after being full, we went on for a desert. Smart decissiom, the tiramisú was lovely. Highly recomended option!

Dined here on a number of occasions. It's our go to place for dinner when in Malahide or Portmarnock. Food is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Fathers day after malahide pitch and putt we walked down to the town. Wasn't the first choice but we're in the mood for pizza. We were happy that they could accommodate us which we really appreciate without a booking on our part. Small sized venue which means it's cozy. This looks like a family run restaurant so it feels like it should be great. The menu is pricey for the quality of food you get. I ordered the Isabella and asked for some minced garlic on the side. Got 3 cloves of garlic 😋. The Ham on my pizza was no way flavourful but pretty superValu ish. With ham being the main ingredient I would have expected this to be the star at the price point. Similarly the Roma with chicken was a real let down also lacking depth of flavour. The classic was the star, so if you wanna enjoy a flavour bursting pizza, get the classic. That was yummy. Thin crust is cooked to perfection, the cheese was a little burnt which can mean they trying to rush the orders. Service was acceptable. I have eaten pizza in many locations, if they used better quality ingredients they would knock those taste buds off the charts. Family friendly with someone celebrating a birthday at a big table so they can accommodate large groups. Access is a little difficult as it's up a steep flight of stairs. Good try, sadly I'll not be back coz you missed the mark for me and I had high expectations for your location and pretty decent Google reviews. Best of luck. Enjoy

Really enjoyed this meal on a Monday evening. 4 of us had the early bird menu at €23 each and a couple of sides. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was very pleasant. Well worth a visit. And only 6 minutes walk from the dart station.

Amazing place and the friendly staff, but it is not an authentic Italian food restaurant. Rice with asparagus and shrimps really too much spicy and in the rigatoni with sausage there were added other ingredients that don't fit (e.g. zucchinis and pieces of fried onions).
