Imperial Hotel Tralee in Tralee

We stayed overnight during "The Rose of Tralee" We were greeted by a lovely young lady named Emilia, she was extremely friendly in a natural way, helpful and knowledgeable about what was happening around the town. Our room was one of 4 rooms in an Annexe. It's a decent size, with everything you need. The standard of hygiene is excellent, and the bed was comfortable, and so were the pillows. The room is warm, and you have the option to sleep under the throw or the duvet. I tried both and ended up under the throw. Smokers/Vapers will be delighted to know that there is a patio door off the room I stayed in. As a smoker (no judgements, please 😉), I was thrilled. No more opening doors and making noise to go outside to have a smoke. And as the Annexe is in a relatively quiet lane, you won't be bothering anyone. The hotel provides parking for guests, which is also a big plus, in my opinion.

We stayed here for two nights over the august bank holiday weekend. Location is great. (Town itself not so great) but that’s a personal thing. The staff are so so welcoming and friendly and warm! Our rooms were in the newly built annexes around the back. We were a bit sceptical in the beginning because it is in an alleyway. We had originally booked a double room which was lovely new and comfortable, and we decided to book another night at last minute,so the next day we had to change rooms (no problem for us). This was no bother to the staff and we felt like at home! Really lovely hospitable and relatable staff! The beds were comfy, the place was spotless and we will definitely be back! Good job to all and well done!
