Staff was great! Had an excellent Chai Latte. The coffee shop was comfortable with plenty of seating. Lovely place to spend a cozy hour reading!

Nice place and lovely staff. I didn’t eat here but ordered a flat white to take away. Unfortunately they only have a limited range of dairy milk, and use low fat milk. This is totally wrong for a flat white. It should be smooth, creamy with a good coffee hit. Instead, the Insomnia version is thin and insipid. The coffee is decent, but overwhelming without the fat needed to refine the taste. For anyone wanting espresso, Americano etc it’s fine. I was disappointed. They should change the description to “skinny flat white”. Arguably there is no such thing, but that would be more accurate.

I have never been to an Insomnia that wasn't bad and Athy is no different. All the staff are so welcoming and lovely. The food and range of cakes are top notch, definitely worth a visit for the hospitality alone.

Lovely place to pop in for a coffee and a chat. Lots of space so the cramped feeling of many coffee places is not there. Would definitely go there to chill out a bit
