Istanbul in Cork

I entered in here after running 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I had the appetite of a man who ran 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I ordered a mixed donner and chips meal. It hit the spot and I always remember hearing somewhere something about the last bite? The last bite in this establishment blew my mind. I don't know why, but the last bite of the meal I purchased upset me as to how good the meal was. The sauces on the plate, how it is served it perfect. I would highly recommend purchasing the meal I just spoke about. Fresh onion, fresh tomato, fresh lettuce and there was a pickled beetroot or slaw? Definitely try this place out if you are around Plunkett Street and hungry. The seating I found was perfect as a solo diner, I had a mirror in front of me to take in my surroundings and atmosphere as I enjoyed the meal and also ate upon a funky colored marble tabletop. 4 stars from me !

Great naan bread, the food is fresh and consistently good. The staff are really nice and efficient. The portion is generous. The place is clean. This has been a great kebab every time I’ve been there.

The kebab at this place is delicious and is perfect for a post-dancing meal since it is open at dawn, the staff is super fast and friendly, it is really a pleasure to go to this place, we love it and we go every time we can, it is highly recommended!

I've eaten in many places in Cork, but I always come back to Istanbul because nothing beats their grilled chicken kebab. I couldn't leave a good photo of the food because I couldn't resist 😹⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No había estado en Estambul en varios años por una razón u otra, así que le di otra oportunidad recientemente y estaba muy contento con el estándar de comida y servicio. Las porciones son buenas, sentarse puede ser un problema, pero una buena queja dado que tiende a ser muy ocupado a veces, como he descubierto. Tal vez el mejor kebab en Cork en este momento

Tuve el pollo doner kebab en The Istanbul, y fue absolutamente fenomenal! La porción era increíblemente generosa, y los sabores eran ricos y deliciosos. El personal era impresionantemente rápido, eficiente y atento, y se podía decir que la comida estaba preparada con cuidado genuino. Después de pasar una semana completa en Cork, este fue el único lugar donde encontré una comida verdaderamente satisfactoria. Desafortunadamente, solo lo descubrí el jueves, después de desperdiciar tres días (y mucho dinero) en comida deficiente en otros lugares. La calidad aquí es inigualable: manos abajo, el mejor kebab doner de pollo que he probado. Definitivamente volveré a Cork, solo para que mi esposa pueda experimentar esta increíble comida. ¡Un sólido 5/5!
