Istanbul in Cork

The kebab doesn't have coriander in it. I prefer kebabs with coriander, but the kebab here was still delicious. I recommend the mixed kebab.

O man. This is good. We walked by this place on the street and had to stop. The staff are helpful and patient and nice. The lamb is very flavorful and tender. The chili sauce has some heat but isn’t too strong and the naan makes a perfect wrapper if you want it that way. Very, very good food! The interior is clean and roomy but a bit cavernous.

From start to finish, this restaurant and takeaway is pure perfection. The food was fresh, piping hot, and bursting with flavor — you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in every dish. Portion sizes are generous, and everything arrived exactly on time. The packaging kept it all neat and mess-free, which is a big plus.

One of the few halal spots in Cork city center and easily the best. The food quality is impeccable. Amazing food and big portion size cannot fault the meal at all.

I ate a gigantic lamb kebab, but it was really good, I recommend it if you don't have problems eating large meals.

First of all, this is was first time having kebab in this place. I didn’t know what I was gonna order so I decided to ask for recommendations. I told them I could wait until the line was empty , but the staff there were super nice and extremely helpful, giving me their best recommendation even though they were pretty busy. I went with what they recommended, which was a mix kebab platter (half chicken, half lamb). It also came with garlic sauce, some spicy one (which was very good), salad and some bread underneath it. The meal option also comes with rice/fries. You can also ask it to be a 50/50 mix. The food was tasty, well-made and pretty good, but I thought that spending almost €17 on this dish (it included a drink) was a bit overpriced for what it is. The atmosphere was grand. Not much to say, honestly. The design isn’t the best, but it isn’y dirty or anything like that. Just not that visually appealing. Overall, a 6.5 / 7.0 experience.

Fantastic food, large portions, efficient staff. Not fancy, more of a communal dining situation, but the food itself is immaculate.

Estambul es un gran lugar. He estado yendo allí de vez en cuando durante algunos años, estuve allí a principios de junio y, honestamente, no fue una buena experiencia en cuanto a la comida, lo que puede ser corroborado por un amigo mío que también ha estado allí anteriormente: nada importante, pero estaba por debajo de la calidad de lo que habíamos tenido anteriormente. Se lo señalé a uno de los jefes de personal en ese momento, y de todas formas le agradecí. Fui allí esta noche y realmente me quedé impresionado por el cambio de sentido que habían hecho. El mismo personal, la misma comida, pero estaba deliciosa y bien presentada en comparación con la última vez. Traté de llamar la atención del mismo miembro principal del personal esta noche, pero estaba bastante ocupado, así que no tuve la oportunidad de AGRADECERLES TANTO, excelente comida, excelente servicio y están haciendo un trabajo estelar.
