Best little pub in town. Great pints, lots of TV - OK they enjoy racing and even rugby more than soccer but watching the football, having a pint lounging in leather chair with the fire roaring is hard to beat

Staff are so friendly and efficient, a lot of companies could learn from JJ Mahon and Son. Pint of Guinness is unreal.....thank you.

Great traditional pub, just like the old days before big companies took over and ruined public houses like this. Barman was cheerful and attentive. Prices were reasonable, have been back acouple of times and will definitely return.

A beacon of local authenticity in a rapidly gentrifying town. A locals' pub in a tourist location - complete with horseracing on every screen. Friendly service, warm welcome from other customers. Good Guinness, but nothing in the way of craft beers on draught.
