Excellent pub with genuine grumpy yet affable Irish bar staff. Heartily recommended.

Only tried this place for the first time a week ago. Lovely cosy pub, a smashing pint of Guinness and safe to say my new local!

This is a great local pub in the Portobello neighborhood. The bartenders are friendly and the craic is good. Sit at the bar and make a friend or speak with a fun bartender. They do a *great* Guinness pour, and are welcoming to newcomers. We'll miss this place when we go back to the US. They don't serve food, but that's not why you would come to this place. For Americans, it's like the Cheers bar from the show.

Lovely pub. Very local minded but even as a Dutch tourist I found myself feeling very welcome. Great pints, greater bar, magnificent bar staff! Thanks!

Great bar in the city with good service and beer. Quieter than a lot of places around with plenty of space to get a seat.

Cracking pub, great staff, lovely pints.

The variety of beers was good, and I went during the day when there weren't many people, but the owner was friendly and took a commemorative photo on the tap.
