One of the best bars for a pint in the city centre and around the portobello/Rathmines. When it's busy there's a great buzz around the bar and when it's quite it's nice to sit at the bar and chat to the barmen.

Proper Pub. Great Guinness, Friendly Vibe, Good mix of punters. Clean Well Run Establishment. Many others could learn a thing or two from Mr O Connell. Highly Recommend.

09/12/2024: We was for fish and chips and was delicious 🤤 The kids was very happy to have ice cream in they menu. The restaurant is very cozy, and we liked the fish.

15/12/2024: There's nothing I can write negatively about this place. Absolutely amazing food! I had the green curry with Irish beef and my wife had the Kyoto special fried rice. Wow. Service was excellent as well, and I would definitely recommend this place.
08/11/2024: Absolutely lovely spot, especially if you’re looking for a quiet date location. The food is not as spicy as you might think but portion wise the food is great and the service is fast! A lovely spot in Dún Laoghaire for anyone looking
