The variety of beers was good, and I went during the day when there weren't many people, but the owner was friendly and took a commemorative photo on the tap.

One of the best bars for a pint in the city centre and around the portobello/Rathmines. When it's busy there's a great buzz around the bar and when it's quite it's nice to sit at the bar and chat to the barmen.

30/04/2025: The food here is simply amazing. A really good menu and all of our food was simply superb. From the focaccia to incredible, wafer-thin carpaccio to a delicious meat and pasta dish. Everyone else at our table was equally happy and the service was excellent. Plus the most beautiful view from our table. We will be back again and again.

11/04/2025: Spice cajun was one of the best toasties I've ever had.
10/04/2025: Incredible sandwiches, genuinely delightful. Dog friendly, super kind to our pup. Lovely staff! We both had the Spicy Cajun. I'm no cheese lover but they were happy to reduce cheese in my sandwich. The sourdough bread is an excellent idea for a toastie, really helps hold together.
