Jack's in

Jack is an excellent host and the food was hot, delicious and there’s a great variety. He made sure sure that if we needed or wanted anything, we got it!

Unfortunately have to agree with some previous comments and the owner trying to persuade people to tables can come over as a bit annoying. It's a real shame that this place is not performing to it's full potential as location is there, but they are stuck in the past. It starts with the menu and how it's designed, just no creativity and what you could get in any Irish pub in the 80s. Dishes very boring and nothing special. The fish and chips were nothing special, the monk fish with rice and curry was ok but again just basic and because the fish is swimming in standard curry, you lose the actual monk fish texture and taste. Place really needs change and some new ideas and it shows that owners seem to have lost touch with modern dining. It's more a pub rather than a restaurant.

Really great food but the place was very disorganized, especially the lady at the till for payment. She was very overwhelmed and a bit too short with customers. It was panic station, I can understand during the high season, but we didn't feel it like that anywhere else. Waiters were very friendly including Jack the boss:)

Great food- John Doery was a chef's kiss- and Jack is a delight! Let him feed you, you will be happy you did!

Only place that would fit us all and the battered fish was fresh and delicious!

Had a delicious mussel dish! All local and fresh. The roast of the day also seemed popular and looked delicious. Crowded and nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy.

We've had a lovely lunch here, the waitresses were kind and professional. I can highly recommend the lamb, it was melting off the bone.

Seems to be the most dependable restaurant in town, open for lunch already. Food is good, standard fare, standard prices. Service a bit ... well unique characters. Outdoor seating next to the road. Indoor quite nice.
