Great atmosphere, especially on Wednesday evenings when there is live music in the bar and all musicians are welcome. The pub also hosts quiz nights and coffee mornings to raise money for charities. Sometimes, on Saturday evenings, there's live music in the lounge with a theme such as 80's night, etc. Out the back, there's a large beer garden area with seats, heating, and a TV screen.

Jacobs is a lovely cosy pub close to our house. Crowd here is amazing and most of them are regular. Staff is super friendly! Highly recommended. Tip - you can bring Roma or China garden take away and can wnjoy with your drink in Jacobs.

The best local pubs I’ve been to. Great atmosphere. Lovely staff. I recommend that you ask specifically for Siofra Power. She was so lovely and pours the best pint of guinness (which is hard to find). The toilet was beautiful. It was fully renovated and new. Owners clearly put a lot of work into the place. The smoking area is fabulous. I’ve never felt so social in my entire life. The regulars were very welcoming and treated me as their own. Overall, great pub, great people, great pints.

Outstanding. Extremely nice people very hospitable. Especially when football or other sports come along. Every Wednesday at 8 p.m. there is a music evening which is a lot of fun.

I guess women have to beg for beer here! Mostly ignored until I spoke up. No food in the pub. If you aren’t local forget this pub! Where’s the Irish music??

10/12/2024: We hosted our Festive with Friends event at The Maple Tree, and it was an incredible experience! The service was top-notch, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. A special thank you to our waitress Michela (apologies if we’ve got the name wrong!)—she was absolutely amazing and worked closely with our events manager, Michael, to ensure everything ran seamlessly. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and festive, and the staff’s professionalism truly stood out. We’re so grateful for their hard work and hospitality. We can’t wait to book with The Maple Tree again in the future. Thank you for helping make our event so memorable!
