Great hotel..right in the centre of town..loads of pubs and reataurants nearby..Staff are lovely..food good and breakfast til 11.30 if you have had a late night.šŸ˜ƒ

New years day dinner in the restaurant was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy but the staff made our table of eight feel very welcome . The staff were fantastic ans nothing was a problem for them . The food was delicious. 6 adults and 2 children all enjoyed their meals . Very reasonably priced also. Would highly recommend. Many thanks

I went for a staff Christmas Dinner in the restaurant and as always I loved the atmosphere and the food is beautiful, especially steak and fish, well worth a visit. Traditional Irish/ old english with stained glass and low lights, always bringing visitors to either the restaurant or the pub across from reception, it's just as beautiful, would absolutely recommend

Service was very good and food was amazing love the bathroom very clean nice to go for a family dinner quick and so much atmosphere amazing vegetable soup ,garlic bread , steak ,hake ,chocolate brownie . You get rolls on your table when you arrive.Staff are kind and helpful

A wonderful visit once again the Ladies fillet never fails to disappoint and the racks of lamb exquisite! The service impeccable with Simona leading the service team in a very special way making for a superb evening and a personal service and attentive service that left nothing wanting!

03/02/2025: Called in for breakfast- full Irish. Despite being very busy, the food arrived promptly. Nice food, well cooked and tasty. Would recommend it. Plenty of car parking outside.

Old House Restaurant

01/12/2024: We had a family lunch for 14 people for a birthday & anniversary celebration. The restaurant manager Pat could not do enough for us. He was so welcoming, personable and fantastic with all the kids. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and making the occasion so special. Iā€™m looking forward to my next meal there. I couldnā€™t recommend it highly enough.
25/09/2024: Amazing quality food, service is very good also, staff very friendly. The only two things I would change there is the background music, for something more relaxed and classy, like instrumental classic music for example, and also some colour to the tables, like a center piece with flowers, even fake ones, to give some more visual appeal. These are just small details, but we will be back for sure, and very soon.
