Good place to watch a rugby match with friends. The Guinness is good, and the atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming. It’s a great spot for weekend nights with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend.

Amazing pub great atmosphere and lovely pints. Great for live sport also has a nice outdoor covered beer garden and is joined to a great music venue for live music of a night. I would highly recommend.

Great place to go out in. Friendly, efficient staff. Amazing lay out of 1314 for gigs. Lots of seating and standing room. I loved it... will definitely go again

Went to watch the rugby but even though we were there early we couldn't get a seat as tables were reserved. Never known a pub to reserve tables.

Ma Hogans Bar

03/08/2025: A lovely welcoming bar, has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, has a fireplace inside. Rob in particular is a brilliant barman but all staff are friendly and helpful. Thursdays and Fridays tend to have a guitar singer. It’s a great pub for evening drinks to be able to catch up with people. There is no television.
22/06/2025: We stopped in on the warmest day of the year to grab a pint and cool off for a bit while checking out Limerick. Rob our bartender greeted us warmly and took great care of us while we enjoyed our drinks. Rob chatted with us while we drank and we enjoyed the conversation. He shared some history of the bar and provided us some wonderful recommendations for local shops and dining. Do yourself a favor if you’re in Limerick and visit Ma Hogans to grab a pint and a chat. Say hello to Rob for us!

25/07/2025: Always nice coffee and cappuccino, breakfast and crepes very good too. Nice atmosphere.
04/06/2025: Some of the nicest coffee in limerick. Great place to meet people or to relax at break/lunchtime. Staff very attentive.
