DO NOT get an iced coffee here!! Hot coffees are nice but iced coffee is horrible, like it came from a machine, and cost me €5!! The sausages and rashers in the Irish breakfast are similar to ones you’d get on holiday, don’t have the Irish taste. Still a lovely place to sit.

I've walked past here hundreds of times but only went in last week. Been there twice since, it's they good. Amazing decor, great staff, coffee is very good, food is excellent and priced very reasonably. Must visit.

After a long time, I came back for a hot chocolate because it’s the only place that stays open after 5pm (which is good). However, I’ve tried many cafĂ©s in Limerick and I’ve been really disappointed with the hot chocolate here and it’s more expensive than other cafĂ©s and it tastes like there’s more milk than chocolate

Clayton Hotel Limerick

15/05/2026: A wonderful place to stay. Very clean and the staff was amazing! The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had a great variety of foods to choose from. I love that they served breakfast until 10 for those of us that sleep in :-). The views were beautiful despite overlooking the scrape metal yard. The restaurant food was ok. Nothing incredible but was good. You can walk to pretty much anywhere. Will definitely stay there again.
08/05/2026: Exceptional hotel, great location, and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent!
