Great bar with an outdoor area right on the river. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff; we spent several hours there because it was so cozy. Few people in the afternoon, much busier in the evening, but not overcrowded (Wednesday). We highly recommend this pub.

Amazing pub, very old, traditional, great pint of Guinness - man it does really taste better here, doesn't it! Funny that both, this pub and Kate Daley's claim to be the oldest in Limerick. Doesn't matter, they are both very nice and welcoming. Staff here are so friendly - we had a fantastic time.

Yes, this pub really does seem very old. It's not immediately obvious from the outside, but once you go inside, it's clear. The old stone floor and the winding rooms, all rather dimly lit. It definitely exudes a certain old-world charm. Good beer selection and service. The terrace is perfect for relaxing with a beer overlooking the Shannon.

Went for a pint on the way in to the city from Thomond Park. Nice pub, nice vibe. The bar lady didn’t come across overly friendly though

11/07/2026: Very good food and great atmosphere. Not the cheapest prices but you do get what you pay for
11/07/2026: Dinner on Thursday evening with 10 people. We were seated upstairs which I think is fab. It can be a bit pricey but I don’t mind it for portion and quality. Appetizers and mains were lovely and very filling. Every dish turned out to be a highlight so I can’t recommend enough the ones that I had. I heard bad reviews from people but now I regret not trying it out sooner. It was such a delightful, wholesome dining experience and prob head back soon.

Fika Coffee

13/07/2026: Needed somewhere on a late Sunday morning to get some work done and hit my Monday submission deadline. Fika was just opening and I'm so glad I popped in. The staff were friendly and the coffee was just what I needed to focus for an hour. Fika is an ideal spot.
27/04/2026: Really great coffee, lovely place, calm Scando vibe. Love it!
