Food was awesome. We were very lucky to get a table without reservation. Oysters were very tasty but my personal highlight was the Brownie. Highly recommend.

It is a nice pub that you could easily spend an evening in. The food is nice, as a veggie there were good options. Service was very good, the staff really worked hard to ensure customers were attended to.

Even if we arrived at the restaurant a little late and one of us had some dietary problems, the staff made us feel very welcomed and didn't hesitate to accomodate our requests. Very good food and impeccable service, very recommended when in Galway!

Somebody send us there the first night we stayed in Galway: The food, we heard, was good. It was more than that: Service was class, craic was ninety, and the grub outstanding. We went back there on our second night as well.

Amazing food. We had lamb and mash and also a burger. We also shared the brisket croquettes. The food was fantastic. So tasty and well presented. Good Guinness and decent prices. Staff were really lovely and the lady who was the Maitre D, was really helpful in finding us a table even though it was packed. Might be worth trying to book if you can.

Park House

27/03/2025: Located around the corner from Eyre Square, it’s a lovely hotel we used just for an overnight in Galway City for St. Patrick’s Day. The room, bed, and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom has both a great shower and large tub to suit anyone’s preference. Minibar in-room is fully stocked if you’re so inclined despite all the great pubs in Galway. Restaurant serves a nice almost full Irish breakfast (no beans, sad face), and the bartenders were friendly while we burned time prior to a dinner reservation. Parking was included in the rate, which was a plus considering the holiday and festivities. Front desk staff were very kind and even let us check into our room very early. Great visit!
25/02/2025: Rode out history Storm Eowyn at the Park House and couldn't have been more comfortable and cared for. Plus my car had a cozy and sheltered spot. Such a convenient location, plus handy to have an eatery in house. Great service at front desk and server Kitty was fabulous, too. I shall return!
