John Keogh's in Galway

We ate here again last night and it doesn’t get old. The food (chicken and steak) were delicious as were the yummy cocktails and we had great service from the girl who served us. This is my favourite winter pub in Galway. It had a fantastic atmosphere with its low lighting and cosy corners everywhere. See you soon!

Fabulous place. Great food great staff

Looking for excellent.lamd.in Galway, come here. Plenty of other choices on the menu, but I highly recommend the lamb. Best I have had in a long time. The creme brulee was a great finish. Brings your family,.friends or anyone else. Lots of beer on tap and they have great mixed drinks!

I had a delightful dinner here this evening, the steak was perfectly done how I like it and the meal was delicious overall. The service was wonderful, Nessa was the waitress that served me, very humorous and charming. Other staff also checked in on me as well throughout and were lovely. The atmosphere was cosy and enjoyable; an ambient spot for a nice dinner, would highly recommend.

This is absolutely the coolest most authentic Irish experience we’ve had to date. Daithi and the other staff are welcoming and wonderful! I highly recommend if you come to Galway you HAVE to stop in for a pint…. And maybe a dozen more. Really well done!

I loved this place. I love Galway in general and every tie I go back, I try to find a very authentic spot like this. It was awesome. I've never had mussels so good before.... And the salmon -- amazing. It was well worth the wait. My pink gin and tonic was great as well. Can't wait to go back.

What a great find! We were struggling to find a place to eat later on a Friday night this past weekend and were greeted warmly here and sat quickly despite being pretty much full. We both really enjoyed our meals- chicken "burger" and the roasted chicken were both delicious and came out piping hot and the jus with the roast chicken was just absolutely divine! Nice friendly service, really good chocolate old fashioned cocktail, and great pub vibe with good music and warm decor. It was exactly what we were looking for!! Thanks for a great night!
