We absolutely love Jolly Boys- whether it’s sitting inside in winter or in the outback (outside dining) in the summer the food, drinks and service is 10/10. The atmosphere is laid back (great music and interiors) and the staff are so good with the kids; the place is so family friendly with a great menu for everyone, including delicious gluten free options (including GF pizza and chips) 👌🏻👌🏻
They do great beers including local IPAs and an excellent cocktail menu too!
Look forward to the next visit already ❤️

Absolute awesome feed at JollyBoys during a recent stay at Center Parcs. We were a table of 8 and really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. This night out was one of the highlights of our trip. Will definitely return in future, would definitely recommened giving the average CP restaurants a miss. You will get much better value and quality at Jolly Boys

Stopped in for food on my way through Ballymahon on Saturday afternoon and left very satisfied. I tried the chicken wings, tenders, loaded fries, and the Marog Mór burger and all were excellent. Will definitely be back

Ate here at the weekend after hearing such great things and was not disappoint.
We ordered 3 pizzas for the table to try out the different toppings and every slice was delicious - they were all great but the Nduja was my personal fave, just the right amount of heat and lovely crisp crust for dipping (dipping sauce = gimme a pint of the garlic please 😂).
There were a few of us so we tried the buttermilk chicken tenders and brisket fries which were divine. One of the table has a burger, though I didn't try it, considering it lasted all of 3 seconds, I can confirm it was tasty also.
Staff were great too, really pleasant to chat to and helpful. Makes all the difference when you have good staff that enjoy the business.
All round stellar dining experience. We don't all get to go out for food often so it's nice to have somewhere reliably comfortable with a good atmosphere (and awesome food) to hit up when we all get the chance. Top drawer!

Food is lovely, bit on the expensive side for what it is but worth it for the occasional treat

Hosted a party at Jolly Boys this weekend and it was the best decision! We had use of the outdoor area at the back with the sound system and plenty of seating. We ordered pizzas and chicken & chips which were devoured by everyone. Absolutely delicious. No complaints from anyone and there were roughly 20 people attending. Service was great and we were really well looked after. Honestly, for the quality of food, service and the space we had, it was very reasonable. We have eaten in the restaurant on occasion and never had a bad meal but now we also have found an amazing space for future family events! Jolly boys and girls all around!

I attended a 10yr Anniversary party and Leo and Susan were great. They made us a very welcome and were able to cater for our dietary needs. They made me a great Gluten free Pizza and a cheese free gluten pizza too! What a great place and great people. Cant wait to come back!

Extremely disappointed in the food as everything else is top notch. There's much better choice in Mullingar or Athlone if you're willing to travel.
I have been here three times now. The service and cleanliness are top notch, but the food has left me a little bit bored and not willing to return.
It's like you're trying to make all the cool dishes, but you haven't really nailed the recipe and it tastes a little bland or watery.
We have made a visit recently and ordered a plain pizza. The base looked good, but the crust of the pizza was completely burnt. I can't imagine how that sort of quality is allowed to leave the kitchen. The tomato sauce was watery and felt like cheap watery tomato cans without any seasoning or taste.
I was delighted to see some options for vegans in the little vegan corner (little is it), ordered Vegan Cauliflower Wings.
They we're hot on the outside and cold on the inside, indicating these guys are selling frozen supermarket food at restaurant prices. They also didn't have any close resemblance in texture or taste to chicken wings these are trying to imitate, so why even call them "Vegan Wings". Just call them cauliflower bites, that's what they are.
While it is one of the best in Longford County, if you have the option go outside of Longford, go for it.
