My wife and I were in kinsale for a day. We walked around and found Jo's Cafe. Everything looked delicious. We ordered Carrot cake , orange cake and raspberry scones because we couldn't decide. We were so glad we bought them all. Hands down the best scone in Ireland . The carrot cake was to die for and the orange cake was a new taste I never experienced and was glad I did. If your in Kinsale dont miss out.

This spot is SO lovely. I wandered in to get some baking and was really happy with the selection! I carrot cake was delicious! I highly recommend it. The girls at the front were so friendly and the vibe was just chill and happy. Worth checking out if you’re in Kinsale!

Lovely spot in Kinsale! Stopped into Jo’s Café for a cappuccino and a coffee — both were excellent. The lady working there was very friendly and welcoming, and the place had a great atmosphere. The food looked absolutely delicious, so I’ll definitely be back to try it next time. Highly recommend if you’re in Kinsale!

Right in the middle of the town. The macha latte (oat milk) and coffee is excellent here as are the home made croissants, pan au chocolate and scones. Place to sit down and enjoy the sound of the café available also. Ta very much Jo and team.

24/09/2025: Unfortunately they were out of scones. If the waiter could have baked them I'd say he would have, he was so apoplectic. We had coffee and the apple and strawberry crumble instead. Beautifully presented with homemade vanilla ice cream. 10/10. Am already looking forward to going back.

02/01/2026: Fantastic dining experience. I think this place is known for its steaks but we ate everything BUT the steak and found the flavours to be phenomenal. Standouts from the menu were the dirty mash and hispi cabbage (sides), the duck breast (main) and the cauliflower (starter). Highly recommend eating here.
04/11/2025: Even though the setting is pleasant, the service is far from commensurate with the prices charged at this establishment... From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is just okay, and even less so when it comes to one of their specialties, the meat, which they don't seem to know how to cook properly... what a shame... only the slideshow (not included) allowed me to travel a little... One star nonetheless for the person who served us, who was very friendly and professional. I don't understand the other reviews; the 5 stars are not deserved given the quality/price ratio... I won't be going back.
