Joseph McHugh in Liscannor

We ate here twice during our 9 day adventure and all 4 of us Ireland Travelers agreed that the food at Joseph McHugh's was the best. Best chowder, best bacon and cabbage. I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon appetizer.

Cozy little pub, perfect for lunch after visiting the Cliffs. We were on a tight schedule and they were very quick to deliver our food, which was delicious! 🥰

Came here after our trip to the cliffs of moher, staff were lovely food was good and the highlight was they welcomed our 2 little Shih-Tzu girls in the bar too. Will definitely comeback, our dogs are family abd we love to have family time out together.

Amazing pub atmosphere and nice concert in 2018

Visited McHughs today for some lunch. We all ordered Bangers and Mash. Absolutely delicious. Tasty and plentiful. Two of us had sticky toffee pudding for dessert and one had apple pie. All were absolutely scrumptious. It was such a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere in McHughs and the lady who served us was friendly and not intrusive. We will definitely be back here again. A very big thumbs up from me!!

Typical Irish food with good value for money. Good option when leaving the Cliffs of Moher.

Food very tasty. But would prefer if bar was separate as when dining with kids, it's not ideal to be dealing with drinkers and having to walk-through them to get to the dining tables. Staff were very friendly and the fish and chips was yummy. Goats cheese salad also a winner and kids menu catered 4 child's tastes too. Too full to take advantage of dessert.

Lovely pub a short walk from the Cliffs of Moher Hotel. At the time I went in, it was pretty full with locals listening to the live music, drinking and enjoying the company. It felt very authentic Irish and even though we weren’t part of the community we felt very welcomed. The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and good portions. I had the fish and chips and the fish melted in your mouth. They had a good selections of beer and drinks. The Guinness was very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was also very accommodating and kind. We hand a wonderful time and would love to come back and enjoy the food and the ambiance again.
