Great place and seating on many floors. Bartenders and servers were great. My food was delicious but wife's brie wasn't fully melted. Nothing wrong with the food, I've had better, but you come here for the drinks, location, music, and atmosphere.

It's really lovely there, just like you'd imagine a pub to be. Live music, a great atmosphere, and delicious beer.

I always love recommending JR Mahon’s to my American couples for their welcome or rehearsal party. The team is incredibly helpful, the food is always excellent, and the top floor is a fantastic space for a private event. I have always had such a positive experience working with them and would highly recommend JR Mahon’s for a relaxed and memorable celebration in Dublin.

Good was good. Service was slow and needed to look for waitress to get check.

Nice pub with views of the river liffey O Connell bridge and part of O Connell Street from upstairs. Very quiet on a Sunday afternoon even with a big premier league match on. Minus one star because they didn't have their own stout in stock. Worth a visit if your in the city centre.

Live music is great and the atmosphere is so cosy!

A superb three-story pub with magnificent decor, open every day, featuring Irish music and dancing. The food is affordable and delicious (we tried the curry). Just be aware that if you don't specify "small" for your drink, it's 500ml by default (you'd better be thirsty!). A great find overall, we highly recommend it!

Best fish and chips in Dublin! It’s fresh-caught haddock and incredibly light. Linda took great care of us and was helpful with the menu. A can’t miss experience near the river.
