Kanok Thai in Cork

I frequently go here for lunch with work colleagues. It's the highlight of our week! Great value and some really good dishes. Rice with BBQ duck is a favourite. I've never received a dish I did not like.

The chicken salad is super spicy. If you don’t like spicy food, remember to tell the waiter. Wonton pork noodle soup. The pork balls are delicious and have a good texture. The pork slices are not dry and the soup has an Asian taste. Duck noodle soup. The duck meat is not chai. The soup is very sweet. Overall, the portions of soup noodles are very large and very satisfying.

Had a lovely meal here with my son at the weekend. He ordered Sweet & Sour (as he didn't know a lot of the menu items) and I followed the recommendation of the waitress and ordered Nasi Goreng. I've had this dish quite a number of times in different places. This one was as good as I have ever eaten. Plenty of veg, lovely flavours, real chicken and a good healthy portion. Just thought it was perfect. My son loved his meal also and eat it all. Overally I loved the restaurant and will be returning in the not too distant future. Nice ambience, nice staff, very authentic food. Bit longer waiting time but I never mind that as good food takes time to prepare.

Lovely Thai food in a pleasant restaurant. Service was a bit slow during busy periods when we needed new drinks, but a very good meal overall
