Lovely place for breakfast. Vegan and vegetarian options with everything from a mixed grill to pancakes. Indoor seating and outdoor covered seating.

8 of us ( Bikers) called in this morning ( Patrick's weekend) it was very busy. Wait time, cleanliness, service was 100% staff lovely, food quality 10/10. Motorcycle parking across the road. Kate"s is a great spot and great value, we all left stuffed.

Breakfast this morning was pleasant food wise. Plate was Scalding hot and burnt my hand. Waitress should have mentioned this to me. Cutlery was dirty and had to be changed. White Mugs were very old and tired and chipped around the edges. The place really Needs a good clean everywhere in my opinion, as is dirty and tired. Would love to go back to see these improvements made.

25/03/2025: Nice simple pub menu with ALL the favourites. Always get a good meal and service here.
01/03/2025: Today myself and wife and a friend went for lunch in the bar.. staff where extremely nice and friendly. Menu options where great and specials of the day clearly seen.. We had wings and burger and turkey dinner and fish and chips..all fresh well cooked and delicious. Well done. We mentioned to staff how lovely the meal was and especially the Chips.. they mentioned unfortunately they will be changing the current way of doing chips and no longer will be available soon.. I know it's only chips but it's something that stood out. and anyone who is the manager in that place seriously reconsider making a change..if the goal is to save a a few euros ,then believe it is not worth it. Value for money and quality was excellent.. don't go reinventing the wheel 🤗 Thanks for having us.
