The service and ambience was really good the food was also nice but we would have loved if the food was more spicy that’s the only minus

Had a chicken biryani takeaway from here a year ago which didn't impress, but wanted to give it another chance, so dined in today. The atmosphere is nice, but kind of old style that reminds me of the Indian restaurants from the 90's and early 2000's, still often found around Dublin and its suburbs. So does the taste of the dishes, for good or bad - overly sweet curries, lack of spices and not much depth of flavour - the recipes all modified for the 'white' Irish palate. This might have been good enough in the past, but within the last five years or so Dublin has got an amazing selection of very authentic Indian and Pakistani restaurants, which I prefer nowadays to the westernised ones like Kathmandu. The prices are high, probably due to the location next to Temple Bar, so I'd recommend instead going for one of their lunch or early bird/pre-theatre menus instead (they have many). Overall, this is a place I'd perhaps dine in only very occasionally out of of nostalgia for 90's style westernised Indian food, but nowadays I'd be mostly visiting the much more authentic places around town.

Spent several days in Dublin. Went here three times because they serve delicious food from a wonderful kitchen.

Wife and I enjoyed a lively dinner here. Terrific quality food, great service, clean and welcoming setting. So happy we found yoy!

Dined here as a solo traveller in July 2025. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is excellent, plush carpets, nice decor and large front window facing the street. The service was fast and efficient, staff were friendly and the food was amazing. I had butter chicken. Consistency of the butter chicken sauce was different to what I am accustomed to but it was rich in flavour and the portion size just right. The staff were very friendly and even offered me a glass of Baileys on free of charge which was a lovely touch. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

Sono stato qui per cena attirato dalle ottime recensioni e vista la vicinanza al mio hotel. Cercavo cibo indiano e ho trovato nepalese, non che sia veramente in grado di distinguere le diverse cucine. Ottimi i piatti e porzioni abbondanti. Servizio veloce. Prezzi medio alti.

Servicio muy amable, buen personal atractivo. La comida pedida era muy buena, maravilloso Jalfrazi, con buen arroz. Peshwari Naan necesitaba un poco más de sabor / relleno. Habría pedido guarniciones, pero tenían un precio de 11 euros, que me pareció un poco excesivo, pero supongo que no es inusual en los restaurantes indios en estos días.
