This pub offers a solid experience. The tap beer was fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was enjoyable, enhanced by the live music. The fish and chips here is so good.

Had the Fish and chips , it was so nice and a big size fish! Staff are always so nice and friendly. We had a table booked, so we're seated and ordered right away. 😊

Collins Bar

14/06/2025: We recently had a family gathering for my sister in law’s birthday. We dealt with Colette when booking and I have to say she was the most helpful and friendly bar manager I have ever met. She could not do enough for us and made sure everything was perfect. We ordered finger food which was very tasty and we had an area to ourselves. I would highly recommend.
13/05/2025: Fab family bar and restaurant. They have carvery and off the menu. Order and pay at bar and they bring it to your table.

14/06/2025: Goof Day! Im from Port Elizabeth in South Africa and I am Regular at Franklins Rest on Weekends and if i Go Back Belive Me the I Find the Place Exelent. Service/Staff and Food,The Best. My Compliments to Management/Staff and to The Cheff or Cheffs. I Would Say Anyone go there You will Stay Going there Permantly. Thank You Franklins Management and Staff.
10/04/2025: My go to place for the best coffee and the best service. There is one staff who is very kind I dont remember her name. She was working on April 11th 3.50pm with a pink shirt, curly hair.
