Great outdoor seating right across the street from King John’s Castle. The food was excellent and came quickly. I appreciate they had a kids menu for our little ones

Popped in on a Thursday evening and found an Irish session in full flow. I felt very welcome, enjoyed a lovely pint of Guinness and bought a t-shirt :-)

Cozy atmosphere and a good menu. Sometimes there are food stalls outside serving burgers, which is a nice bonus. The location is excellent, right across from King John's Castle, making it a great spot to stop by while exploring the area.

Beautifully situated directly opposite King's John Castle on a quiet side street. Quaint atmosphere in what is supposedly the oldest house in Limerick. Good beer selection, food is also served. Two large outdoor terraces. Friendly and attentive service.

Great pub to call in for a drink on route to Thomond Park

As soon as we walked in we got a table and the server assisted us with a smile! The staff is SO sweet and they have great taste in music. We got a Guinness & the butter chicken and it was delicious. I definitely will be back here again!

I didn’t have food but basing it on the service that Kevin gave us whilst we had drinks I can only imagine it is wonderful. Kevin was nothing but a gem and honestly deserves the world. This man is exponentially underrated in his role and deserves every good thing life can give him. I believe he started in his role in February, where I have been a few times since, and each time Kevin has treated us with uninterrupted care and attention to a level that I cannot quite articulate. I cant fully fathom that servers are this attentive and helpful in this day and age and I have to assume that this comes down to Kevin’s natural care for his customers and his wonderful training in this fantastic establishment. However, I cannot discount the newer members of staff who are working behind the bar as their care and attention to their customers cannot go unnoticed, they are not only representing their place of employment so well, but representing the entire bar industry in a way that is enviable. Thank you!
