Great pub to call in for a drink on route to Thomond Park

As soon as we walked in we got a table and the server assisted us with a smile! The staff is SO sweet and they have great taste in music. We got a Guinness & the butter chicken and it was delicious. I definitely will be back here again!

I didn’t have food but basing it on the service that Kevin gave us whilst we had drinks I can only imagine it is wonderful. Kevin was nothing but a gem and honestly deserves the world. This man is exponentially underrated in his role and deserves every good thing life can give him. I believe he started in his role in February, where I have been a few times since, and each time Kevin has treated us with uninterrupted care and attention to a level that I cannot quite articulate. I cant fully fathom that servers are this attentive and helpful in this day and age and I have to assume that this comes down to Kevin’s natural care for his customers and his wonderful training in this fantastic establishment. However, I cannot discount the newer members of staff who are working behind the bar as their care and attention to their customers cannot go unnoticed, they are not only representing their place of employment so well, but representing the entire bar industry in a way that is enviable. Thank you!

We had lunch there after the castle tour and it was fantastic. Seafood chowder was the best in our trip so far.

Sat by the fireplace and it was great food, Drinks and listening to locals. Staff was super nice. Right be King Johns castle.

Great pub which we frequent most Friday evenings due to the lovely sunny position they have. The finger food is a lovely offering but hasn't made it to our table on a number of days. The bar men and staff are great. Great buzz in the pub any time you visit.

We stumbled across this place by chance, but we absolutely loved it. Both the food and the staff were excellent, and to top it all off, live music started, which made it hard to leave because we were so delighted and comfortable.

Limerick's historic center. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. That's why I hadn't been here for about four years. We returned and weren't disappointed. The atmosphere and crowd were very pleasant. The staff were friendly. We found a spot by the fireplace. It's doubly enjoyable in winter. I really enjoyed the seafood pie. Ireland can be very diverse, but this is truly a good, solid Ireland. We're sure we'll visit again. Special thanks to the bartender who served us. He's not only friendly, but also has a great sense of humor. Excellent.
