We visited here with family's and friends ...open mic night the day we went where one family member singing ...good atmosphere really busy seems very popular wee place just sorry we weren't staying in Waterford longer to go along another night

Got recommended this bar as a place for Guinness. Every pint was cream and the cheapest pub we went to all weekend. Live music but you can still have a chat. Staff are super friendly and great to tell you about the local area. I'd go back to Waterford just to go here for a pint here. Highly recommend.

The Riverside Cottage

06/09/2026: This was our meeting pop for a hen party before we headed to Waterford Castle, lovely outdoor area and good service
03/09/2026: A lovely restaurant, very spacious with a terrace. The staff were friendly. The food was good and the portions were generous. I highly recommend the soup starter. It was absolutely delicious. If you like fish and chips, this is the place for you (though it's not really my thing), but the tagliatelle was also very good. We were hoping for a view of the water, but there wasn't one.
