Great local corner pub. I was at the Temple Bar Pub today, and that was nice, but this is out of the madding crowd and more laid back, and it's mostly locals.

Excellent pub with a varied menu starting at 3 pm. In the morning, the menu is still varied but more limited. Excellent roast beef and fish and chips. They have a variety of beers, including Smith's.

Excellent food and lovely service. The man behind the bar was so so kind and made us feel so welcome. The Guiness stew was absolutely delicious, the best food I ate in Dublin. Well priced as well. Really recommend.

We had dinner at Kavanagh’s Pub for Father’s Day while visiting Dublin from Canada, and it was a great experience. It’s a truly authentic pub with lots of locals and a slightly older crowd, which gave it a warm, traditional feel. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our meals. Good value as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a genuine Dublin pub atmosphere.

28/06/2026: Moses is the friendliest young man and makes a delish coffee!
20/05/2026: One of the best cosy place to relax have a cup of coffee or tea or match whatever you like. It feels like a fairy garden, where there is amazing outdoor seating area with even blankets to make it even cozy. Would go back just to sit down and relax.

12/07/2026: Great place to start for our first place in Dublin! Food and coffee was delicious when it actually arrived because I think the waiter must’ve forgotten my order and had to ask us for it again so it took a long time…. HOWEVER the staff were very apologetic and gave us a mini Victoria sponge to make up for it and that it did! 😊 the waiter also gave us some great local recommendations and was super friendly!
12/07/2026: Everything was very delicious!! Best breakfast in Dublin, especially pancakes!! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere:)
