Staff so friendly and attentive both at night and during the day. Live music at night, various sports on tv which was what we were looking for. Variety of food on offer was fantastic and the quality was good pub grub. The waitresses couldn’t have done enough. Worth a visit for a good pint and bite to eat!

We stopped by the castle last week, but the real diamond was Kelly's Pub. The Guinness was top notch and Mr Kelly was pouring it himself. Had the Stew, and it was awesome. It was one of my favorite stops on our Ireland tour. Highly recommend.

10/03/2024: One of the nicest break/lunches in a beautiful tucked away garden centre. Lovely food, service was impeccable and the feeling of being in a home cafe just es qu’usité and heart warming. Will come again and again and again.

Courtyard Cafe at Birr Castle

03/04/2024: Children’s trip for Easter. 3 adults and 7 kids travelled from limerick all decked out in rain gear and we all had a fantastic time. The children loved everything about the place. It’s a hidden gem for family day out. Can’t wait to go back in nice weather and experience the magic of the grounds in the sunshine. Staff were very friendly and natural. I’ve told so many people about out great day. Inexpensive to visit and could easy pass a full day. Thank you for a lovely time and Easter quest was fun
