Phenomenal ice cream. It’s been 2 months since we’ve visited this little shop in Kenmare. Margaret made us feel like we were at home…but with way better ice cream. All it took was talking with her and she insisted our treats were on the house! It was by far some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had the chance to taste. Highly recommend dropping in to see Margaret here. Love from America

I wanted to give 3 stars, but my husband very much enjoyed his three flavors of ice cream. Server wasn't very interactive at all, didn't seem like customer service was her job. I had espresso (very good) and salted caramel (very soft, almost soupy). I chose the unique 2 sided cone, which was cute in presentation, but was stale and had a bad taste--definitely not the way to finish off dessert.

Very reasonable for locally made icecream. Great selection of flavours and lovely staff. I’m from Kenmare and my daughter loves trips here for a scoop

21/03/2025: Encantador lugar para pasar por cuando en Killarney! Bonito y pintoresco! fabuloso café! Hace poco tuve sopa servida con Guinness y pan de nuez para el almuerzo aquí y era encantador! ¡Regresaría de nuevo!
21/03/2025: Un lugar tan ecléctico para el café. Fuimos allí todos los días y a veces 2 veces al día. Bebidas nocturnas y lugar de música también. Todo el lugar se remonta tanoooooo lejos y tantas habitaciones. No lo sabrías por la calle. ¡Debo hacerlo!

13/09/2025: Located in the heart of Kenmare, this was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean and big, with a comfortable bed. Downstair is a bar / dining room that serves up some great meals and a nice breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They often have local musicians to provide music in the evenings. There is some on-site and street parking, but if those are filled up there is a free public parking lot only a block away.
30/08/2025: New, spacious, and spotlessly clean room! Very friendly owners. Excellent classic Irish breakfast. Recommended!
