Excellent service, exaggerated prices but in line with those you will find along the entire West Atlantic Way, it rips off tourists.
Very nice Pub with friendly and attentive personnel. Food was good, drinks also. There was nothing to grumble.

Very good fish in the fish and chips, very well cooked fish and very thin and crispy breading.
The fish soup is very well seasoned with aromatic herbs.

A week's holiday in Ballyconneelly and we ate at Keogh's twice. The first time, it was a truly delicious pizza with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, sweet red onion, and arugula or spinach. The second time, both times, the same pizza. And the same dessert: warm rhubarb tart with warm custard. DIVINE!!!

We ate twice at this restaurant during our stay and we never regretted it. All the staff are friendly, from the waiters and waitresses to the guy who brought us the dishes from the kitchen. Everyone made sure we didn't need anything. Maybe it's an example of typical Irish kindness, but I'm used to much worse in my country. I don't know if it was due to the need to eat anything green, but the side salad was fantastic and the main dishes, from the classic Fish & Chips to the salmon (daily special), were delicious. I can't recommend this place enough if you are in the area, and not only because it is one of the few restaurants, but because you can rest assured you have a nice experience.

Great food, best soup and fish and chips by the coast.
I do have to deduct one point though. Some drinks are quite expensive — a ginger beer for 10 euros. For this reason, drink prices should definitely be listed on the menu.

The food, service and atmosphere were all 5 star. Food was piping hot and staff were very attentive, it was my husband's birthday and he chose to have the steak, best steak he's ever had. Would definitely go again if ever in the area
