Killruddery House & Gardens in

We had a wonderfull visit at Killruddery. We decided to get a house tour and that was the best decision we could have made. Ray gave such an amazing tour of the house, with history not just about the house but the whole of Ireland. He was a passionate storyteller and we enjoyed every minute of the tour. Learning about the family who is still living there was very interesting. The gardens around were also beautiful and the tea room was a nice place to wind down.

Amazing place and experience. The guided tour was really interesting. I truly recommend to spend here the day.

Cool cafe with courtyard, farm shop, etc.

Food Options -If you're planning to eat here, I recommend bringing your own food or booking the Grain restaurant in advance. The Grounds & House - There's beautiful wildlife such as dragonflies, and lots of ponds full of lillypads and waterlilies. It's spectacular - €17 adult with tour - There is no photography allowed inside the house!!

My first visit was in February 2025, which was just for the cafe. It was good. My recent visit on July 26th included the gardens and a house tour. The place is magnificent, and the gardens are breathtaking. The house tour was okay; the guide was wonderful, but the tour only included three rooms and the orangery. The pizza was average, and we had soup from the cafe, which was good. The service was good, but the tables weren't clean, and even some of the water glasses and spoons weren't washed properly. Overall, I enjoyed my time there; it has a calm atmosphere that I was reluctant to leave. The gardens are only open from April to September. I visited on a Tuesday in February. At the time of my visit, only the cafe and shop were open. Unfortunately, the palace and gardens are only open from April to the end of September. The pizza shop is open only from Wednesday to Sunday. I tried the cinnamon cake and cappuccino, and they were delicious. I recommend it for those who want to visit because it's far from Dublin. Beautiful retreat and outside space outside Dublin. Highly recommend - decent cafe too albeit somewhat expensive

Located near Bray this is a beautiful countryside outdoor adventure centre. Water slide, jumping platform into the lake, kyaks and 2 floating pontoons activities are in the lake area well supervised with friendly staff and life jackets provided for adults and children. (Wear old runners for the lake activities) Obstacle courses spread out around the gorgeus green fields surrounding the lake. This is where Ireland's Fittest Family is filmed. Great day out forschools or families. Cafe onsite for tea, coffee and treats. Parking for cars, coaches and school busses.

Amazing place to calm your head and heart

Every one needs to visit this place, it's yours are amazing, they are what you want in a house tour, the history is a good one but I am not going to tell you, but it's a must to visit

Fascinating location and super informative guided tour of the house. Wood fired pizza oven in the stables was amazing, although the service seemed to lack direction, but only a minor issue. Excellent farm shop too! Concession for Brits with National Trust membership.
