Fantastic fish & Chips can I say anymore about it. 1st time back for a visit this year. And now the topping on the cake they do fabulous onion rings and a curry sauce.

Food is freshly made for each order and staff is super friendly. I'm glad we drove the extra miles to eat here. There is a lovely seating area in the back. The shack is a bit hidden in a small side street. We can absolutely recommend eating here.

Lovely woman & her daughters run this shack April to end Sept. Great fresh food. Today 29th May 2025 we had 2 of their seafood boxes, without chips. 👌

One of the best fish and chips i’ve ever had. Wait was a bit long (45min) for food, but no surprise why they were so busy. Great stop along the Wild Atlantic Way. Would visit again!

Boathouse Restaurant

17/06/2025: Anyone traveling in this part of Ireland should definitely eat here. It's not more expensive than most pubs in the area, but the quality is significantly higher. A genuine fish restaurant with great dishes, but everything, as is typical for Ireland, is very relaxed and informal. Reservations seem to be absolutely necessary, though.
04/06/2025: Really excellent seafood restaurant. 5 friends went for a birthday lunch and we were all impressed by the cooking, presentation and staff. Front of house was as good as anywhere I have been. Highly recommended.
