Kilmurry Lodge Hotel in Limerick

I stayed here on February 17th, 2026. It was an excellent stay. Starting off with easy parking at a great location in town, I was then greeted by some of the greatest staff who helped me make a reservation and check into an awesome room. While I encountered an issue, the staff quickly worked going above and beyond to resolve the issue. The following morning, their staff provided an incredible breakfast. I highly recommend this property.

Very handy for UL. Very nice warm hotel food was lovely and hearty in Nelligans perfect stay especially in Winter. Staff were lovely particularly in Nelligans.

Lovely lodge. Warm, welcoming. Very friendly staff. Huge thank you to Ellen on reception for answering all my questions and being very helpful and welcoming to us. We stayed in the lodge for 1 night, 2 guests. It was busy, there was also another function on at the same time. However, staff located at many points in the building would help usher guests which helped with any crowding so by the time we checked in, the crowd was essentially gone. So very well done to all staff. The room was warm, normal sized and an okay bathroom. The tv in the room was not set up, and I had to scan for channels myself. Coffee machine was nice addition. The bed was comfortable and a decent night sleep was had. The bathroom as a bit disappointing, the hot tap in the sink had a lot of pressure and kept splashing up and out, soaking the counter and floor. Standard complimentary soaps and shower wash provided. Iron board was also available The wardrobe wasnt really up to the same condition of the room, seemed out of place as the rest of the room was nice but the wardrobe felt a bit aged for the room. There are water fountains around the halls which is a really nice touch, and the same with the vending machine offering some basics supplies. The room can get very warm, the radiator is adjustable which is great, Windows can open partially or fully which is a great addition to the room. Dinner was pretty good, the chicken curry was lovely and the ladies got a chicken Cesar salad which they enjoyed. Great service through dinner, well respected staff and well timed interuptions minimizing any interruptions. Staff are quick and efficient. Breakfast Was good. Nice food, nothing amazing or different but it has everything you need. Coffee machine lacks all options however has most of what you need. Hot food was enjoyable to eat and plenty of it. They had more options here than other higher rated hotels I've been too which was a pleasant surprise. Location is very good. You can get a bus where you'd like just outside the door. 2minutes from the motorway and adjacent to Lidl and Castletroy Shopping center. Over I would stay here again. It's staff is mainly the reasons I would come back here. It definitely gives a sense of comfort and relaxation even if it's busy. Losing a star on the room for the bathroom and tap splashing and the out of place wardrobe. 5 stars for the service, well mannered, nice and easy to talk to. Never felt afraid to ask staff questions or for help. Losing a star on location due the proximity to the students bar it can be a bit odd walking at night with so many younger people around. Otherwise very well located. Taxi should be cheap enough from town if out late.

I have stayed here a couple of times now and the check-in and check-out is quite quick and easy. The location is convenient for me as my office is just a few minutes walk away from there The restaurant at the hotel serves good food and has a nice bar for drinks. The rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities you would need for a casual stay. I would surely recommend this place if you have to attend an event or your work place is nearby.

I was staying for work. Good food, good staff and clean rooms. The gym was reasonably well kitted out, although it was chilly.
