For freshly cooked food and a great atmosphere Nelligan’s Bar is the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is a must.
Taco prawns and chips, fish and chips and the mushroom soup were what we tried. All were delicious and nicely cooked.
Although fish was modestly portioned and peas more pasty that mushy, the chips were dry and crispy, their taco prawns are renowned and the mushroom soup was very tasty.
Service is very prompt, friendly and full of conversation. Nice airy restaurant.

I really had high hopes for this place my trip started off good but by the 3rd day i woke up with bite marks on my arms and legs. Looked at the sheets saw what i presumed dead bedbugs. Reception sent housekeeping up they said they saw nothing so i felt like i was being gas lighted. We decided to switch rooms and before i laid in the bed i sprayed my premo bed bugs and dust mite killer spray that i bring with me when traveling. Went out for 3 hours came back did the iron test and saw more speckles on my sheet & pillow. So i decided to change hotels. The only reasons im not completely ragging on this place hardcore is because they refunded me my money and the resteraunt and location were supreme for me at the time. I didnt appreciate the fact they tried to tell me they didnt have bedbugs when i have bite marks to prove otherwise. Or that i just didnt want to stay at their hotel because i didnt like it. Therefore, i just wanted to give warning that you may end up in one of the bad rooms like i did. Also,i feel like they "room fish" you with the pictures they post on the website it doesnt look as nice as those photos. Either way i still enjoyed my short stay there minus the extra guest sleeping in bed with me. Photos so you guys can decide if these are bedbugs or not since they told me they didn't have any as they had a 3rd party inspector come and check my first room. 🙄
Update: Dear general manager, You wanted to take my phone when I clearly held my phone to your face. You in turn wanted to hold and take my property. To possibly try to delete said photo and video evidence of it. I dont lie to potential guest. I give my personal experience. I literally have photos of bite marks and bugs on the pillow but whatever i get it you dont want to be known as the dirty hotel but evidence and photos dont lie... Now if you want more video evidence i can gladly send you all the footage i have to your email. Consider it on the way...
Wonderful hotel. Room impeccable. Service excellent. Food impressive. Fabulous location. Will be back!

Staff were absolutely brilliant, food was top notch. But for the money we paid for the weekend that the Wolfe Tones were playing and the stunning weather to not have a fridge,a fan or even a bottle of water in the room was a massive disappointment. Not like a bottle of water was going to break the bank.

No fridge in room, no air-con so was stuffy. Staff and bar/restaurant facilities were great but the rooms are in need of modernising. My room smelt of smoke and the bathroom had a sewer or damp smell. Not cheap either! Location wasn't great unfortunately

The Kilmurry Lodge Hotel in Limerick is a true insider tip for those seeking comfort, hospitality, and a touch of extravagance. The spacious and spotlessly clean rooms not only offer plenty of space to relax, but also thoughtful details such as comfortable beds, modern amenities, and a tranquil atmosphere – perfect for business travelers and holidaymakers alike.
A special highlight is breakfast in the hotel's restaurant: Whether savory or sweet, Irish or continental – everyone will find something to their liking. The selection is extensive, the quality of the food is outstanding, and the service is always friendly and attentive.
And if you're in the mood for something a little more unusual, you should definitely try the legendary "Tapeworm" cocktail – a bold blend of tequila, mayonnaise, and lime juice that's sure to be memorable. A real conversation starter at the bar!
Overall, the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel offers a charming combination of comfort, quality, and a touch of adventure. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Limerick in style.

Good hotel, good breakfast and nice rooms. You can also have dinner here. You can also walk into town to eat.
Park your car in the hotel's own parking lot.
A pleasant surprise the rooms were spacious clean and spacious, the bar and restaurant were your typical Irish ☘️ tavern go drinks and good service. Thank you you made our stay very special
