Kinara in Dublin

15/03/2026: Food fabulous - as it has been consistently for the past 10 years. I always order the lamb shank which is so tender the meat falls off the bone. Understand that this is more of an upmarket Indian restaurant, with slightly smaller portions at a higher price, and a quieter ambience. We were offered a glass of prosecco for mother's day as we entered, which later appeared on our bill. Management apologised and immediately removed it - but this seemed cynical to me, which is the only reason I've deducted a star.

07/03/2026: Food was quite good, quantity a bit less. It was my wife's birthday so I asked them for a birthday surprise dessert. They brought it, but I later figured that they charged me only for it. And it was for €11! Neither have I ever nor would I have ordered a dessert so expensive! I asked them for a surprise...didn't think I'll only have to pay for it!
