As others have mentioned, it doesn't look like much, but there's so much heart in this place. Wonderful owner, and lots of great events that are all about bringing people together. Some of the best nachos you can get.

After a long drive in the rain I decided to stop in Macroom for lunch and rest before getting to my destination for the day 30 mins away. I immediately felt a friendly and relaxing vibe with the owner and the soft music. I ordered a falafel wrap with sauce on the side (warmed up) and chilled for a while enjoying some excellent food and music! I ended up topping off my lunch with a “Swiss Roll” cake. Mmm!

The Mulligan Room

13/06/2024: Nestled in the heart of Macroom Castle Demesne, The Mulligan Room is situated in the clubhouse of Macroom GC. You do not have to be a member to eat at this restaurant. The food is excellent. Freshly prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast provides a filling start to the day. Today I had the Katsu Chicken Burger which was superb, the pictures do not do the flavours and presentation justice. Excellent value for money in Macroom where quality and value for money seldom go hand in hand. Enjoy your food while taking in the terrific scenery and follow up with a walk in the Castle parklands. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Keep up the good work Mulligan Room.
