30/03/2024: It might not be the fanciest place, but to us it is very special. Thank you Mr. Rhami for giving our daughter and her school mates a place to go to (actually it's more like their second living room) and for giving her a chance when she looked for an internship!
To anybody looking for a place to stay and eat in Macroom: KOOL Cafe is your place. Good to eat, nice to drink, great to relax and very friendly staff. What else could you want?

24/01/2024: Grand spot for a pint and to watch a match. It was midweek so it was fairly bleak not much stir about but the girl serving was very friendly and welcoming. Nice pints also

10/09/2023: We went with a chinese meal from the restaurant as we just wanted something different and to see the options and quality of food. Reasonably priced overall.
I must say i was blown away with the spot on flavours and selection we picked. Delivery was quick and easy. Food was piping hot. We will definitely revisit in the future.

21/02/2024: Would avoid this place to be honest. The staff that served us was so rude. She turned her back on us twice as we tried to order! The staff made me feel like an inconvenience when I asked her questions about the food, she made no effort to explain things to me. The salad portions are tiny. €5 for 2 tablespoons, I had to ask for more. Coffee was ok but the overall experience was one of regret

19/10/2023: Great chipper food. The owner is friendly and generous with the chips. He uses proper Italian ingredients for the pizza. There are free lollipops for kids. A happy, cheerful atmosphere young kids will enjoy.
