Food tasty, but sometimes seriously spicy

We have been going to Kumar for years and never disappointed at the welcome we receive and the standard of food .We went last night and although the restaurant was very busy a table was organised for us and the food was amazing.Thanks Kumar .

Delicious and amazing value. We got the 2 person deal, the chicken balti was the nicest curry I’ve ever had. We arrived an hour before closing but the staff were so welcoming.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. 5 star service and 5 star food. And we are from Birmingham the home of balti ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good food with very good service and ambience

Quería compartir mi reciente experiencia cenando en "Kumar's Taste of Asia" en Galway. El restaurante estaba bullicioso cuando llegamos alrededor de las 8 : 30 PM. A pesar de la multitud, nos sentamos rápidamente en una mesa de esquina, que era conveniente. Sin embargo, tuvimos que hacer un esfuerzo para llamar la atención del servidor para nuestro pedido. Nuestro servidor, Varsha, era amable y educado en todo momento. El plato de chisporroteo de carne mezclada era agradable, pero los Paneer rolls parecían más rollos de patata que paneer. El curry de coco de cordero de madras era sabroso y delicioso, mientras que el pollo con mantequilla era un poco demasiado dulce para nuestro gusto. Los postres, aunque sabrosos, estaban ligeramente en el lado más dulce. En general, podría considerar volver a "El sabor de Asia de Kumar" en el futuro. I was there yesterday, it was busy. They did their best, food was excellent, spot on. Nice work, the atmosphere took me back to India.

We had a vegan meetup at Kumar's recently, and everyone who attended was extremely happy with the food, and with their willingness to accommodate our large group with our dietary requirements. It is delightful to have so many vegan options that are just as elaborate and carefully made as their other dishes, including a variety of tasty appetisers that had everyone at the table saying "wow, these are so good!" Kumar's has been one of my favourite restaurants in Galway for many years, and at first I was hesitant to tell my friends about it because some can be a bit fussy and critical about food, but there was nothing to complain about, even for the pickiest in our group.
