Kumar's Taste Of Asia in Galway

We had a vegan meetup at Kumar's recently, and everyone who attended was extremely happy with the food, and with their willingness to accommodate our large group with our dietary requirements. It is delightful to have so many vegan options that are just as elaborate and carefully made as their other dishes, including a variety of tasty appetisers that had everyone at the table saying "wow, these are so good!" Kumar's has been one of my favourite restaurants in Galway for many years, and at first I was hesitant to tell my friends about it because some can be a bit fussy and critical about food, but there was nothing to complain about, even for the pickiest in our group.

Really great place. Can't recommend it enough

Food was amazing probably the nicest Indian I've ever had, atmosphere was relaxed and staff we so friendly and accommodating. Value for money is great, would definitely recommend Kumar's.

The butter chicken here is flawless and my husband and I keep going back. We always try a new dish as well and have yet to be disappointed. Everything tastes amazing, you will not be disappointed eating here! Service is always friendly as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the bathroom definitely needs some work and the interior could use an upgrade but overall it's well worth the visit :)

The food was good and tasty. Service was not upto the mark as the staff was in rush to take to clear the table instead of checking if we require anything else. Atmosphere-The place is quite conjusted and small no proper ventilation.

Nos encantó. Nuestros favoritos fueron el cordero balti y el plato de patatas y coliflores. Tenían una muy buena oferta de 60 euros de un menú fijo de 2 entrantes, 2 currys, pilau, naan y una botella de casa roja o blanca. Tuvimos eso y añadimos algunos otros platos y los cuatro comimos "estilo familiar". El servicio fue encantador.

Food was ok, small portions. Very poor service, long time waiting for the food and it seems as if the waiting person does not have any idea what is going on. It seems to be a disconnect with the kitchen. The carpets on the stairs to go to the bathrooms are filthy!!! I would not recommend this restaurant.

Nuestra última noche en Galway fue fantástico. Lo más destacado de la gastronomía fue el Sabor a India de Kumar. El personal era acogedor, amable y servicial en la discusión del menú. Gran selección! Poppadoms y tres sabrosas salsas comenzaron la comida de cortesía. Limitamos nuestra experiencia a pollo con mantequilla, Raita, arroz Pilau y ajo Naan. Todo fue excelente! Las porciones eran más grandes de lo que normalmente esperamos. Los precios también eran mejores de lo que hemos pagado típicamente. La decoración era interesante ~ nuestros ojos vagaban por las paredes. Esta es una experiencia obligada en Galway!
