Kylemore in Athlone

17/08/2025: Excellent food, the staff was amazing. Our waitress, Shauna, was personable, knowledgeable, and a good deal of fun to banter with. Cathal was able at the bar, and Colin, who is the owner, stopped by to chat, and made sure our experience was outstanding in all areas. The chef is gifted, and everytyfrom the beef to the homemade strawberry ice cream was worth a special trip.

15/08/2025: I didn't stay in the rooms, but if they are anything like the food, you will not be disappointed. We came here not entirely sure what to expect, but it was a recommendation from a local, Timmy, who works at the oldest recorded pub in the world, Sean's pub and inn. The people are pleasant to chat with, the atmosphere is very relaxing, and the music is well-chosen. 10/10 would recommend to friends.
