La Caverna in Dublin

Good quality, old school Italian with really good service provided by Dima and David. The lamb shank is excellent.

The interior is very nice, unlike the exterior. The food was decent. The service was very good.

We came to the diner early on Saturday for the early-bird special and had such a great experience! The food was fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was cozy, and George was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for better service!

Service was very quick and the waiters (David and George) were attentive and nice. The veggie pasta option (Penne arrabiata) had very complex flavors, it was super tasty and a bit spicy. The tagliatelle burrata napoletana, even though it's a safer option, was very good as well. As a great special and personal touch, on the booking I mention we were there for a birthday and at the end our the dinner they brought us a wee cake and sang Happy Birthday. We only had 2 main dishes, a glass of wine and 2 bottles of water and the bill was 77 euros so it is a bit pricey.

I had a great experience at La Caverna in Temple Bar! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really cozy, but what made the evening even better was the amazing service from George, one of the waiters. He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect during our meal. It’s always nice to meet someone who genuinely enjoys what they do. Definitely recommend this place and if you go, ask for George!

We came to the diner around 4 PM without a reservation and were lucky to get seated on the top floor. The view was great, the food was delicious, and George was absolutely the best! He made us feel so welcome and took great care of us.
