Only thing I didn't totally love, is it's a very small restaurant, so I felt like I was sitting on the person next to me (not at my table). Food was authentic and delicious. Staff was friendly and it had that family owned vibe which is my favorite!

I felt at home and extremely relaxed here after a very long day sight seeing. The waiter was super personable, attentive, and funny all around. We all scraped our plates clean with bread and then got 2 desserts to share. Get the rum baba!! Absolutely divine

i’m always thrilled to find hidden gems in dublin, and terra madre is exactly that – a truly authentic italian restaurant tucked away in the city! the pistachio pesto gnocchi was my absolute favourite dish – creamy, nutty and rich with flavour. we also tried the truffle ravioli which was spectacular, the pasta had the perfect bite to it and was accompanied by a delicious savoury mushroom sauce. the place itself is small but it creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere perfect for date nights. be sure to make a booking & check it out!

This restaurant was the highlight of our Dublin visit! It is so nice and cozy, and easily the best pasta I've ever had. We were looked after exceptionally well and the wine and the dessert were all excellent. Can't fault anything, can't wait to revisit!

The food is top shelf quality. Homemade everything. But the portion of food v price is steep. A grown man will require two courses. Expect 50 Euro in food. Need stronger nicer tables. Like eating at a card table with folding chairs...

A wonderful time at Terra Madre! The food was excellent, the pasta was delicious, and the tiramisu was incredible. As a French woman who has traveled to Italy, I can confidently say that you'll be in for a treat!

21/05/2026: My wife and I visited last night for a quick dinner before a concert. I'm so glad we booked! It's very busy and having visited, I can see why. There's nothing not to like. It's cosy, staff are lovely and the food was amazing. My wife had the Gambas pasta dish. Loads of prawns and cooked without chili as requested. I had a pizza from the specials board. Dessert was an amazing tiramisu which we couldn't finish. Given the quality of the food, we think it represents great value. We will certainly visit again, but I wish it was closer to home so we could visit often!
18/05/2026: We were bunch of hungry shouldy who has landed in Dublin and for the love of good food came in to Paulies Oh boy it truly lives up to its expectations. The vegetarian pizzas were savored more at our table for the freshness of the ingredients and the taste. The starters were great too and the tiramisu at the end was a treat. The service was great and the hosts were very gentle and helpful. All in all it was great experience

25/04/2026: Great Italian dishes, shared menu. Have been a few times, service always excellent, food on first few visits excellent but unfortunately not as good on most recent visit which was disappointing. Hopefully a one off as previously ranked Host right up there
15/04/2026: The food was unbelievable, highly recommended the pappardelle beef shin ragu, it was really good. The steak was also perfect. Staff were excellent. Looking forward to going back :) Booking is definitely required.
