A really special but really cozy spot, tucked half below street level so you watch the legs of passersby drift past the windows while you eat. Classic Italian cooking done really well, the food was great, and the service and atmosphere matched it

Wonderful meal. We came in determined to keep to a single course but were unable to resist dessert because the food was too good. Service was great, friendly and helpful. Our waiter told us all about the food and the restaurant, and even recommended a local bar for our night cap

Unassuming, classic, intimate. 6 or so tables, one waiter. Book in advance. Excellent food. Not an angels breath of pretentiousness. No ice machine though.. 🤔. 5 stars anyway!

05/09/2026: I’m a Japanese student currently studying abroad in Ireland, and I came across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat. I’m really glad I decided to come in. This place is wonderful. First of all, the Italian owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The service was excellent, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. As for the food, I ordered the carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, without exaggerating or trying to be polite, it was the best spaghetti I have ever had in my life. The portion was also very generous, so I think students with a big appetite would be more than satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Italian food in Dublin. I’m very happy that I found this place!

05/09/2026: Zizzi dublin We had such a fantastic evening at Zizzi Dublin! The food was served hot and delicious, and the energetic atmosphere made for a great night out. What truly elevated our entire experience, though, was our waitress, Martina. Even in a packed, incredibly busy restaurant, Martina was an absolute star—friendly, super efficient, and genuinely engaging. She didn't miss a single beat, made sure we were completely looked after, and brought such a warm energy to our table. Martina truly made our night, and we will definitely be coming back!
