This place is an absolute hidden gem. It serves the most delicious Italian food, made from fresh ingredients and prepared to perfection. Prices are reasonable, service is stunning, and the setting is cozy—it's impossible to flaw this place on anything! 100% recommend it & most definitely will be back soon!

Come here every few months its our favourite spot for every occasion. Giovanni ,as usual gave us great service. Food was delicious as was the wine. They even gave us a little candle for my girlfriend's birthday. I can't recommend this place enough.

I visited the restaurant three times, and it was always packed. When I finally managed to snag a seat, I thought, “I hope it lives up to my expectations—because when you crave something so much, you’re often disappointed.” And it did not disappoint—it was simply delicious! The restaurant specializes in pasta, so you can expect nothing less than fresh, flavorful dishes, complemented by outstanding service and a friendly staff. The interior is charming, featuring an open kitchen at the entrance and a cozy dining area in the back. The only minor critique was that I would have enjoyed some cheese on the onion soup, but aside from that, everything was perfect.

We had lunch today and it was just lovely. We got a warm welcome from the lovely Giovanni and wired our way through three courses, one nicer than the next! We had burrata and also raw artichoke with a delicious dressing. It was sharp and crisp. My partner had black tagliatelle with a tasty sauce and I had escalopes of veal and roast potatoes and salad, also delicious. Pears in red wine for me and cannoli for my love and we were well and truly replete! Well done La Dolce Italia - you are superstars!

Absolutely the best authentic Italian experience in Dunlaoghaire. Food was excellent, service excellent, wine and beer excellent. Can't wait to go back.

Don't be put off by the unpretentious and unprepossessing premises, this place is fantastic. Each of my 3 courses was exquisite - nothing too over-complicated or fancy, just classic Italian food, well-presented and absolutely delicious. Pairing prawn with mushroom for the main pasta was an interesting twist but it worked well, and the poached pear was divine. Interesting drinks list too - including an unfiltered beer from Sardinia.
