La Dolce Italia in Dublin

Excellent food and very nice service ! I highly recommend this place. I had the filled pasta of the day, it was divine !

Amazing staff and phenomenal food!

Really good authentic Italian restaurant. The kitchen is in the front and the seating is in the back. It’s really good to see the chef at work as you pass into the restaurant. I think I can call myself a regular now. I love the Halibut main course. Congratulations also on their recent birth of their daughter.

This place came highly recommended on Tripadvisor and it lived up to the billing. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was tremendous. We shared a bottle of Montepulciano and that too was excellent! I had halibut with a really nice lemon sauce and my wife had seafood pasta. We shared a delightfully light tiramisu for desert. When I called to make a reservation for a table we were told 7:30 and we arrived a little earlier than that. Our table wasn't ready until around 8:00pm but during the wait we were able to witness meal preparation in the kitchen which, unusually, is at the front of the premises. The outside tables are well protected under translucent corrugated Perspex with a vine growing from the supporting timbers. There were tables available outside on the decking, but it was cold and we didn't want to risk being cold during our meal. Inside tables were close but there was enough room to squeeze by. Our meal experience was added to by the friendliness and service of the staff. In such a small space, the organization was impressive! Free on-street car parking is available but it can be difficult to find. We finally found a place in Lynch Lane. We will be back!

That was the special, and it was great. Their pasta is top. Probably my go-to homemade pasta in Dublin. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful. Recommend.

An authentic Italian place with incredible food! Portions are generous, couldn’t even finished them. Had a lovely time there, definitely recommend this place!

harsh to tell, but my fav ao far is the ravioli di zucca. Unbelievable good! ask for their afogatto coffee... it is yummy!!!

We had lunch today and it was just lovely. We got a warm welcome from the lovely Giovanni and wired our way through three courses, one nicer than the next! We had burrata and also raw artichoke with a delicious dressing. It was sharp and crisp. My partner had black tagliatelle with a tasty sauce and I had escalopes of veal and roast potatoes and salad, also delicious. Pears in red wine for me and cannoli for my love and we were well and truly replete! Well done La Dolce Italia - you are superstars!
