If creating food was a form of Art, Ebano and Claudio would be like Michelangelo Buonarroti: from the most traditional dishes, made with love as an Italian grandma would, to the most innovative creations.
All of this in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Remember to always ask Giovanni about the specials of the day!

Mama mia! I didn't expect the food there to be sooooo good that I wanted to get seconds of each and every dish my table ordered, and yes I tried a spoonful of everyones dish! Major compliments to the chef and his crew( who you get to see on your way in and out). Giovanni and team, well done!!! I will be back next time we travel to Dun Laoghaire!

A great meal in the small grape garden at the restaurant. Can’t recommend enough, this is what top quality food feels like with great experience . Hidden gem.

Small restaurant with a nice pergola, covered by a little vineyard- it’s beautiful and a nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy the food. The menu is compact, but they also have the daily specials to add to the menu. Considering the cozy/small environment I would encourage booking in advance. The food was good, but not amazing (to me). I had one of the specials and was really disappointed with the size of the dish and the taste. Compared with the other dishes we ordered - and considering the price of it - I would defo expect something more generous and remarkable. I would expect a bit more consistency across the different dishes.

Just go. You won't be disappointed in the food. Authentic Italian in Dun Laoghaire. Who would have thought! Don't be out off by the entrance which is a little underwhelming.

This place came highly recommended on Tripadvisor and it lived up to the billing. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was tremendous. We shared a bottle of Montepulciano and that too was excellent! I had halibut with a really nice lemon sauce and my wife had seafood pasta. We shared a delightfully light tiramisu for desert. When I called to make a reservation for a table we were told 7:30 and we arrived a little earlier than that. Our table wasn't ready until around 8:00pm but during the wait we were able to witness meal preparation in the kitchen which, unusually, is at the front of the premises. The outside tables are well protected under translucent corrugated Perspex with a vine growing from the supporting timbers. There were tables available outside on the decking, but it was cold and we didn't want to risk being cold during our meal. Inside tables were close but there was enough room to squeeze by. Our meal experience was added to by the friendliness and service of the staff. In such a small space, the organization was impressive! Free on-street car parking is available but it can be difficult to find. We finally found a place in Lynch Lane.
We will be back!

Second visit to this unassuming restaurant. Courgette, broccoli, and yellow split pea soup was hearty and perfectly seasoned. Meat special was veal wrapped in cured ham with sage and a white wine sauce. Served with roasted potatoes and a generous salad. It was delicious. Deserts were good too. Vegetarian companion was equally pleased with his choices. Will definitely visit again.
