La Dolce Italia in Dublin

I'm surprised I hadn't found this restaurant before! It's a small little Italian up a side street in Dun Laoighre. I don't tend eat much at Italian restaurants in Ireland but the food was very authentic with home made pastas and rich sauces, and was absolutely delicious! The dessert special of baked lemon cheesecake was just yummy. We came for lunch when the restaurant was a bit quieter as we had a baby with us. The service is very friendly, we had a buggy and everyone helped to accommodate us. I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner when I can get a babysitter!

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Dunlaoighre. Lovely patron and good service. Homemade Italian food. Appetisers, pasta, meat and fish dishes and beautiful desserts.

The food here is to die for. And the service is just as brilliant. Took my partner for his bday dinner and it surpassed our expectations. We'll definitely be back

The pasta from La Dolce Italia is, without a doubt, some of the best pasta I have had in my entire life. Delicious ingredients brought from Italy and cooked with expertise. If you happen to be close, book a spot and enjoy their wonderful dishes.

We are a couple of international students from China who are not very handy. When we both ordered a pasta and a dessert 🍮, the beautiful Italian lady greeted us very warmly and was very considerate to help us divide a pasta into two plates. This friendly feeling put us in a very good mood. The pasta and snacks were very good, just look at the photos.
