Just a superb restaurant staffed with fun Italian personnel

Really lovely Italian restaurant, serving traditional Italian food using fresh, local ingredients. My partner had the meat dish of the day, which changes seasonally. It was Ossobuco, a veal dish served with potatoes and salad. He said it was delicious and very well cooked. I am vegan and they had no set vegan option on the menu but the servers were very understanding and helpful. Upon request, they made a vegetable strangozzo dish with fresh made eggless pasta, mixed veg and a tomato sauce with a hint of chilli. It was delicious and a testament to the chefs that they could make such a lovely meal, even though it was off menu. I highly recommend, but please book in advance if you are a larger group, as the location is quite small. We had a larger booking (10+) and they were able to accommodate us, with advance notice.

Avendo deciso di fare un giro a Dún Laoghaire, abbiamo scelto di provare un ristorante dove non eravamo mai stati, senza avere neanche troppe aspettative e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti e piacevolmente sorpresi da La Dolce Italia, posto che ci è rimasto subito nel cuore e che è indubbiamente uno dei migliori ristoranti Italiani mai provati in Irlanda. Il locale è piccolo ma ben organizzato e risulta essere piuttosto accogliente, l’atmosfera è molto da pranzo in famiglia e la gentilezza e l’attenzione del ragazzo che serve ai tavoli lo ha reso ancora più accogliente. Molto gentili ed appassionati anche i proprietari, una giovane coppia di Italiani, che pur avendo aperto relativamente da poco, ha dimostrato di saper lavorare molto bene. Sul menù ci sono pochi piatti, ma tutti ricercati, ben studiati e, soprattutto, realizzati a regola d’arte. Davvero un ottimo posto, che mi sento di consigliare come uno dei migliori, mai provati.
