Great food and great service and staff! Great drinks.

We were staying nearby and the kind staff managed to find space for us with no reservation on a busy Valentines evening. The food was absolutely amazing, we got 3 courses and from start to finish it was beautiful. Prices are very reasonable, will definitely be returning on our next visit🤩

My family are eating here years, always welcoming professional staff and food is always piping hot and fresh.

Had dinner here this evening with my son, my God it was amazing. From the time we walked in until we walked out the door our waitress Alex was very attentive, serving with a big smile on her face making us feel so welcome and looked after. For starters we had the king prawns, chowder and shared a garlic bread, it was devine....from the first bite until the bowls/plates were empty the flavours were amazing 🤤 i'd have asked for seconds only we had mains on the way.Mains were Raviolli and Octopus Spaghetti, both were exquisite, again the flavours were amazing, the chef really knows how to put flavours together. A couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio to wash it down we moved onto Dessert, we shared the profiteroles,my favs,presented well and tasted delish. A great hidden little gem with great food,service and atmosphere, easily accessed from multiple bus routes,limited parking also available. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu 😁

Absolutely lovely experience! La Dolce Vita is a hidden gem in Kilmainham — cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. The food is always fresh and delicious, especially the pasta and pizzas which taste like they’re straight from Italy. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for both a casual meal or a special evening out. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again — highly recommend!

I visited La dolce vita this wednesday for lunch with a group of friends, and we were all delighted. Everything was perfectly served and tasted exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant, and ideal location. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Whenever I’m in the area, I take the opportunity to stop by La Dolce Vita, and they keep surprising me every time. This time we tried the focaccia salsiccia as a starter and a pasta boscaiola for the main course—both excellent, in flavor and presentation. On top of that, the service was impeccable, especially from our waitress, who, despite being quite busy, remained friendly, attentive, and always smiling. A place that keeps raising the bar.

Pros: amazing pesto pasta and house wine Cons: 5 pieces of calamari for 11€ (maybe frozen also), one Bruschetta piece for 9€, Non traditional tiramisu as we mostly could taste chocolate syrup, 10% service charge yet it was hard to get a waitress to come over to our table. overall I would go back for just the pasta but everything else made this trip very expensive for mid satisfaction.
