Very welcoming staff,food was delicious plenty of choice on the menu,nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. Waiting staff were excellent friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

Most places closed on Monday but La Fontana was open. Everything in my dish was well fried, crispy and not greasy. Very attentive service but staggered as the restaurant got busy. Beer only in bottles but decent wine selection. Mozzarella was exceptional. Nice views of the quay. Bagpipes playing in the pavilion.

Rich Italian dishes at a lovely quayside location. Several seafood pasta options. Good service from multiple staff. Wasn't waiting long for either starter or mains.

Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled with this place. The staff is a bit pushy, the waitress even behaved somewhat arrogantly. The prices are standard for a restaurant, but the atmosphere is not up to par. The steak is not bad. Overall impression - we won't go there again.

Food was great - especially the pizza! Staff were lovely and accommodating. All food was very well seasoned and generous portions. Back room of restaurant is slightly dated though

Went here at the weekend. After reading reviews was expecting some really nice food especially seafood. Have to say was underwhelmed. Service was fine but food wasn't. Disappointed

15/07/2026: Lovely food, nice atmosphere, the staff are friendly but a bit forgetful, had to ask the chap that served us twice for my drink then twice for a jug of water for the table. It is what it is though.
06/06/2026: Food was nice but the portion sizes for the price are just so bad. 55 euro for a 12 inch pizza and a pasta dish with a portion of chips that I could count how many in this tiny bowl with my fingers. It’s gone like most restaurants in Waterford now, overpriced with tiny portions. Very small deserts that you can see when you walk in for 9 euros a pop, no thanks

05/09/2026: We first met in 2013 when we met in Ireland. We came to Waterford for a trip and our dinner at Emilianos really made an impression on us. Now, 13 years later, we returned for our honeymoon and our chosen restaurant couldn't have been anywhere else. Magnificent food, wonderful pasta and sauce, Luca's service was perfect, truly Italian, he was super attentive and fun. We hope to return many more times 🇮🇪🍝🥰
03/09/2026: A great traditional Italian with a large menu. Our meals were delicious and the staff were so friendly & helpful.
