La Fontana in Waterford

Everything was so nice except the portion size of starters and main VERY SMALL i was hungry leaving the place

We went for dinner here on a weeknight, so we were the only table sat. Our waitress was lovely, and the food was served promptly. I enjoyed my risotto, though my wife didn’t enjoy her boar pasta. She said it tasted like feet, which judging by the smell of it, wasn’t too far off. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience. Not the most authentic Italian, but decent by Waterford’s standards. Average prices.

The pizza was fantastic. Great dough!

Turned up with no booking and staff accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was very welcoming and great atmosphere. Food was beautiful, will definitely return 😄

Fab place in Waterford, with a magic view in the quay. Our Irish friends were amazed by the food. Mariana, lovely waitress, made the experience fantastique for us all

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went with friends on a Monday, it was quiet but that's expected in Waterford. The food and service were excellent. We had the best sea-food we've had in waterford in years. We stayed kind after our meals ended and felt no pressure to leave and the atmosphere was lovely. Good coffee too Highly recommend. We will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was back here last week, after not being here for quite a while. On arrival we were 10 minutes early for our booking, which the waitress commented on saying ‘oh your early” and started talking to herself in Italian! I got the impression we were putting her out, there was a few free tables, I don’t know what the problem was! Service was prompt, staff weren’t very interactive. Had garlic mushrooms start and a seafood pasta dish to start.. the food is amazing, wine list is small enough but has a good selection. For the prices i cant say we left full, that’s was with starters, mains desserts and extra sides. All in all it was nice, let down by the waitress at the start, portions could be better I feel

I had the best steak of my life at La Fontana – it was simply phenomenal! The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was incredible, and everything was top-notch. The food is absolutely worth the indulgence🙌
