Went here at the weekend. After reading reviews was expecting some really nice food especially seafood. Have to say was underwhelmed. Service was fine but food wasn't. Disappointed

Excellent food, with great flavor and seasoning. Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it.

The pizza crust was perfect! We had great wine, sea bass, salad and pasta. The owner/chef was friendly and his staff were attentive and responsive. We enjoyed our meal and I would recommend La Fontana for lunch and dinner.

Everything was so nice except the portion size of starters and main VERY SMALL i was hungry leaving the place

We went for dinner here on a weeknight, so we were the only table sat. Our waitress was lovely, and the food was served promptly. I enjoyed my risotto, though my wife didn’t enjoy her boar pasta. She said it tasted like feet, which judging by the smell of it, wasn’t too far off. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience. Not the most authentic Italian, but decent by Waterford’s standards. Average prices.

Turned up with no booking and staff accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was very welcoming and great atmosphere. Food was beautiful, will definitely return 😄

Fab place in Waterford, with a magic view in the quay. Our Irish friends were amazed by the food. Mariana, lovely waitress, made the experience fantastique for us all
